  1. Is that accurate price range? I'm pretty sure the price will be the deciding factor to most as this is being looked as a SPL meter and people will look at it as paying for the name on unit SPL/SSA. I am sure there are things that set it apart just curious.

even if you hang up Navid calls back but its good to leave a message. Have patience imagine your personal line also your business line and hundreds calling for different reasons. numbers can get get deep quick.

EMAIL sales@crescendoaudio.com Again dont just send one.

on sveral boards look for user by screen name epicenter jon. He can also help you.

as far as first hand experience with a 3500 I never wired lower than 1ohm and she stll pounded . if you wire say .5ohm Im not sure but if thats route your heading ask about warranty for that as I think its a additonal fee.

    good luck and happy holidays!

  3. I have friends that ask simple questions and get turned off hearing "this and that" and although I try to explain the little I know its like force feeding them glass. So instead of boring them to death, if there choice on how they want to do there audio works for them then so be it. I have thought sometimes to myself thats stupid but I wont say it out loud. If they come around later we talk about it more if not they are satisfied, might not be all perfect but they are happy.

I'm done with this as it has gotten old and throwing thread off track. Maybe Navid or EpicenterDesigns can chime in and help out OP.

And to end this you guys do make sense I'm very open minded thats why I still come here. trink40.gif

  4. All 8000 views are mine on one of the ones up for sale lol might get lucky and get one off someone but if it all fails then will have to cherish one even more and just get it new.

  5. your answers a more laid back than M5's, but it was from the beginning just a simple question and even though simple answers were given they didn't have to be so harsh. you can write what you want, be yourself but as long as you guys have been on this and other boards most times the tone in the answer messed up and are taken instead of help they are quickly turned around and said the hell with even asking anything else.

Keep us posted OP on how things turn out for you.

  6. Or just make the definitive how to thread on how the proper setup should be so the rest of the world has the door opened in the right direction. I figure the whole car is in a sense a 3 way system being using tweeters, mid bass drivers, and subwoofers.

  7. I stare at it for hours on end until my day will come to have this amp. I fantasize adding to the cart a few times a day lol but recently I notice it says basically out of stock. The year is quickly coming to an end and just want to know if there will be more to go around in the coming months? Again sorry if I missed my answer if its already up.

  8. Yes sir Dj Thats why even though I have owned the XS charger love its compact size and power I was thinking about picking up the older style charger as that has a 25amp option that I'm sure would come in handy for large battery banks or more than one big battery.

just go down to charging time,

    http://www.battery-chargers.com/charging_instructions.htm

This is a chart that shows charging time depending on size of battery. Numbers might change from company to company but example is the same.

  9. Short Description

The Battery Tender® Plus is a 1.25 amp battery charger designed to fully charge a battery and maintain it at proper storage voltage without the damaging effects caused by trickle chargers. Included is a quick connect ring terminal harness for hard to reach areas and alligator clips for an alternate connection.

    • Temperature compensated to ensure optimum charge voltage according to ambient temperature.
    • Automatically switches from full charge to float charging mode.
    • Battery Tender® at 1.25 amps will charge as fast or faster than any 3 amp charger available.
    • Reverse Polarity Protection to ensure user safety. Red & Green Lights Alternately Flash in this condition.
    • Complete 4-step charging program (Initialization, Bulk Charge, Absorption Mode, Float Mode).
    • 10 year Warranty!

  10. battery tender plus is a battery charger/maintainer the positive thing about it is it doesn't charge over 14v but its drawback is that it charges around 1.25 amps so you will easily give it more than it can chew if you are trying to top off a battery bank. Its good for one battery but depending on how low the one gets you can end up leaving it charging overnight. It has two lights a red for charging and a green to let you know its in float mode.

The XSpower charger is perfect as it doesn't go over 14.4v and charges at 15amps thats a big difference but if you have say 6 D3100's I would imagine it could take a bit as well.

I have heard good things about CTEK chargers but again pay attention to your battery bank size regardless which one you use.

I will confess I had to sell my XS charger a few months back and fell back to the BT plus and it took way to long so I recently picked up a schumacher charger 1500 model as it has for AGM type and the option to select between 5, 10 and 15 amps of charge. Only thing that has me a bit worried is that it stays in the 15v range for a while my S3400 is long in the tooth regardless so if I end up having to replace it I will actually moving up in battery size under the hood. I set it at 15 amps on AGM and once it hits full charge then the voltage cycles every few seconds to 15v then down to 14v then back up and down maintaining/float mode.
