Thats definitely an ssd. Not a btl in any way. Good sub but I just hope you didnt pay to much for it.

Those subs are about as different as you can get. But if I had to choose, o would go with fi. Remember you can't buy recones for kickers.

Ya 12 gauge is prety big for your front stage. I have always used 15 gauge in my install and it works great.

My friend just got his today. We free airs in on 250 watts. These 8"s are deffinitly some of the best out there.

I would keep the xovers as close to the speakesrs as you can get because a change in impedance will change the xover points.

thanks for the input! I am new to this kind of thing so I am still learning. I will deffinitly be adding another set screw.Very good machining! However, from experience, I can tell you that using a single set screw to lock onto the battery post will become loose after time especially with the body of the terminal extending to accomidate the wires (some what of a lever effect), using two set screws 90 degrees apart would have been ideal.
Overall, very good, you got some skills there dude keep it going.

I did it at a local machine shop I have access to. I used a manual mill to make it. I don't do this kind of thing for a living, but it is fun to make things like this on a mill.looks cool... you do machine shop work?

Nice find! That's. Great price for a bl. I always skim craigslist for thing like this. My friend found a old style fully loaded fi q for 150. Picked it up a few days ago. Isnt finding people that have no idea what they have great?
