i'm headin down to the shop now to tryn figure it out.. the same wiring settup runs my kenwood amp fine.. but when i wire the us amp up, its as dead as it gets.. both channels

kinda ironic that you would be behind a 3,000 amp but not a 7-$800 sub. Also ironic because you have an adire audio symbol as your avatar....and though the tumult is no slouch, dollar for dollar not an '06 XXX <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wait, the new amp cost's 3 grand? the old ones were around 1500, i snagged mine up for 700. if this is the case, i wont be able to afford any more us amps..

i dunno if its in protection, because the amp litterally doesnt come on, usually if they go into protection the red light of doom comes on, i've have this occur during voltage problems.. but this one shows no signs of life. the power light does not come on.. unless i am wrong and its locked in protection mode and is just staying off? i dunno.

yeah, i let my buddy borrow my 600x and now it wont turn on.. nothin on the board looks cooked... flacko get at me, i'mma have to send this sucker in for repairs.

wow this threads gettin intense. check all weapons at the door, i'm really leanin towards the l7s right now. 4 15s in a wall. although someone said at a shop i visited today that the round version has the exact same motor stucture and that.. and you can direct quote that.. i dunno much about kicker.. i'd go with treo ssx 18s, but i cant get a low price on them to afford amps to power the damn things

hmm still. i'd go with a us amp over a memphis. memphis is a powerbass company.. powerbass saves the best for their line up.. thats my logic, if your bent on memphis, ebay urself a powerbass amp instead. i think you'll be better off, and from what i hear the powerbass amps are pretty impressive.

no offense to u solobaric fans, or x's but those things sound, like garbage.. i got rid of my pbx xtremes, (black basket) to get my treo's cus the treo's sounded so much better.. square subs tend to crack in the corners. and you hear the sub alot because well.. its square.

i have treo ssi 15s now, their the 2005 models. i get around a 143 at 30 hz now. i like disgustingly low bass at ridiculous sound levels.. but i am going to be putting a wall in my truck. i plan to use us amps, you cant change my mind on that. Anyhow feedback on subs would be greatly appreciated.

well someone finally broke into my truck and walked off with my us amp 2000... it was in an impound lot. the best part was i didnt have a cd player in my truck, so after my pops picked it up and i was in school all week, i came home to my amp missing, i filed a report with the police dept. and they plan to help me out, so hopefully i'll be able to get some money out of this and buy another one.. or maybe one of them new us amps.. oh well.

ya dude i love my treo's, but i was thinkin of tradin up to get the new fresh xxx 18s tho.. they look like beasts, how would you say your xxx compares to the treos?
