Comfort Eagle was their best album IMO. Huh? I just want a girl a short skirt, and a looooooooooooong dress. A few of their other albums are still pretty good. Agreed. I don't think I've listened to them in over a year though.

Do you think it's better for a college student to stick with one internship in their related field for a couple years or to switch if possible every year? Kind of a broad question, but I've heard different opinions on the matter. Depends on long term what you want to do. If it is exactly what the internship is then stick to it, if its something else a change is in order. Having a good reason for the change (usually challenge & goal related) is a requirement IMO. Makes sense, thanks Sean. My reason for changing has always been in line with what you've described.

Have you taken any college accounting courses? I liked it in HS, but both managerial and financial were an absolute bitch for me this year. I went from thinking it would be an ok job to knowing I'd kill myself if I had to do that every day. If you like it it's a pretty sweet gig though. Pretty much recession proof. NO college courses. Personally, I think I would hate a desk job. I hate sitting around and LOVE to work with my hands, but I keep ending up in dead end jobs and it's time to stop this shit. I interviewed for a job at a small accounting firm last summer and got the job, but declined to work where I do now. This was before I had any college experience. I'd used some software in HS and their main concern during the interview was teaching me to use their software. So, you could potentially find a job working for an accounting firm if you wanted to get a feel for it. I mentioned the software because if you have any way of learning on some form of ACC software it could be worth your while. I met the guys at a college career fair, AFAIK you don't have to be a student at the hosting university to go. Just some suggestions based on my limited experience, someone else might have some better advice.

I should add that I would have never known that if I hadn't seen the original thread.

That is a pretty good idea to conserve trunk space. I've seen something similar before and thought it was clever too DC650.6. Doesn't look like a DC reference. Those have different terminals Yup, it's a 1000.4 and a 500.1.

Saves money on wire But I think most Bimmer's have the battery in the trunk

I messed with it for awhile and decided on MS Word. Mostly because I used it a week ago for a different assignment and it's somewhat familiar. I can't connect to the VPN to upload it to my X drive at school so I can't see how it actually looks yet. A friend in another section just finished his so I might have him sit down with me and show me some stuff. I can hardly remember all the stuff I learned from freshman year and the course is a continuation of STA 205 so it's been a PITA trying to get the hang of it. You can view it with any web browser. Should be able to double click on the file, or drag it into chrome, ff, ie, etc. I opened it in FF and made sure all the links were working, but last time I actually uploaded it some of the formatting looked a little different so I wanted to make sure everything was staying the same.

We did a tutorial where we made a basic one with Word. Now we're supposed to either use word or something else to make something more complicated. It is weird. I see. I could whip something up basic, but if he asks you about the code, you may have to resort to eating a twix. While thinking of the word twix, I almost wrote twickers. I'm not sure what any of that meas, so I probably would, lol. I don't need you to do anything like that though. Was just curious what program would be the quickest to learn to get this done. Notepad doesn't seem too difficult, at least for what I'm doing. If you use any text editor, your going to be writing html and css (the text editor isn't going to do anything except save what you type), it's pretty straight forward, but trying to do it all in one night may be a little challenging. Yea, I figured it'd be time consuming. I'll get started tonight. Thanks for the advice.

What exactly does a website entail? Multiple pages, a single page for the resume? Multiple pages, basically a page for each section of the resume. I'll look into notepad. It doesn't need to be fancy, just satisfy his grading rubric. Umm, NO WAY IN HELL should your resume be more than one page. That would be a catastrophe. Agreed. That's why it's not. It's multiple web pages, not physical pages. So, a page for references, a page for previous experience etc. It's a stupid fucking assignment IMO

Yeah that too. Of course someone can say were missing the porsche and lambo. Porsche looks pretty much just like every 911 ever made. Lambo hasn't changed much in 10 years, so, meh. The Subaru just looks odd to me. It's reminiscent of a smushed TVR. Love the S60R. The new Lamborghini is pretty insane. I believe it is supposed to be in the next Batman. You need to see the new Top Gear.

It doesn't need to be fancy, just satisfy his grading rubric. If your on a windows computer, you have notepad. It's going to require typing up some html & css for formatting all the text. Are you getting a grade on how the site is written up? Or purely on the content (resume)? You could be a complete schmuck, make the page as an image, then use <img src="imagefile.jpg" alt="my page bitch" /> And use <a href="otherpage.html">link to other page</a> on top. The content doesn't matter, it's just to prove we know how to make the website. I'm guessing he'll check to see how we did it, but he did say he didn't care what program we used. I have access to Windows or OSX. I just now thought about iWeb, I know it has some templates so I might even go that route if notepad doesn't work out.

I have to create a website with my resume on it for a BIS class and was wondering if anyone had any software suggestions for doing this. Our book reccomended Word, but I've heard it can be a PITA to use for that purpose.

It's a great material for it. MDF WILL get wet in your doors. In particular if you drive a GM. I was planning on spraying the outside of my door with a hose for a minute or something to get a rough idea of how much moisture gets in. I'd hate to have a driver get ruined. Take the panel off and go through a car wash. My truck was LOVELY. Ahhhh, good thinking. I'm glad I don't own a GM vehicle then. The last time I took my door apart it had just rained and IIRC it was pretty dry. Most doors have drains at the bottom, so I suppose I should expect some moisture regardless.

I'm SUPER right eye dominant so she moved right. You must be backwards dominant if she inverted. Moved right for me as well, now I know why
