    ZPA!!!! (3)0.5 (2)0.3

All amps have new caps, new fan resistors on daughter board that are extended off the board, float/ground switch is removed, complete disassemble and cleaning with new heat sink compound. I will take detailed pics of any amplifier when a serious buyer asks 1. ZPA 0.5 Excellent $600 plus shipping 2. ZPA 0.5 Excellent $600 plus shipping 3. ZPA 0.5 Excellent $600 plus shipping 4. ZPA 0.3 New never used $500 plus shipping 5. ZPA 0.3 Used, good condition $400 plus shipping

    ZPA!!!! (3)0.5 (2)0.3

One of the 0.3 has never been mounted and also one of the 0.5. So I have two unmounted ZPA!!! I shouldn't say "unused" since they were both powered for testing. The rebuilds were done by shawk. You can find him on DIYMA and on the Phoenix Gold forum. His work ranks with Valeks. I bundle deal would be the only way I would consider negotiating the price. I feel the price I have posted is extremely fair regardless. I will certainly take very detailed pictures for a buyer.

You're moving too slow! Lol he's just ensuring good wood glue adhesion. Ugh, I have to take this enclosure apart and assemble it tin the trunk. I am dragging this out though, no rush on this build.

Damn bro. Sucks ass to work overtime for car audio. This hobby is fun but we all know how temporary installs are. Just my rant... I hate overtime with a passion.

    Might Finally Install A Stereo...

Did you check your LD25X's? Mine were very mismatched and not to manufacturer specs. The impedance curves and fs were very different from one driver to the next. I would love to try the mid you have as well. I have the FR125SR. To make a sealed in enclosure in the door I cut an old coffee can in half. I then sunk that half into the door until it just about touched the window. This is now the area that the magnet sits in. Then I fiberglassed that to the backside if the door card. There are numerous ways you can do this hopefully you can picture what I am explaining. You can also add deadener to the "bucket".

    Looking for endurance tips...

Yeah man. I was at work rushing around to get a comment in this thread. I have done tons of research on this and think it is invaluable. There simply isnt a better way to train for endurance unless our anatomy changes

    Looking for endurance tips...

Can you clarify that statement? People tend to run too fast when they are training for endurance and fat metabolism. They are putting themselves in an anaerobic state which uses sugar stores for energy and lactic acid is built up (which is an energy source as well). There is a process your body uses to use lactic acid as a fuel. We can push our muscles to the point that the lactic acid process is overcome. This is our body's method of slowing us down. Our bodies primarily use fat and glycogen for energy. By jogging in an aerobic respiratory condition near the anaerobic threshold overtime you are training your body to use fat and glycogen stores for energy. It maybe misleading for me to say that you are "training your body". Your body already knows how to metabolize fuel. I should have said that you are training how to jog correctly by using your fat and glycogen stores for energy rather than sugar stores. Once your sugar storage is used up your done. Stay out of that sugar storage and you will have the energy to jog much farther. Running form and cadence have a huge impact on long distance running as well. But heart rate control will allow you to travel the distance. A good practice is to divide 80% of you weekly training time (not miles but time) to slow and easy jogs at aerobic threshold. The other 20% should be devoted to skill work. I will define skill work if you like. A quick Google search brought this article up. You can search up scientific papers for more in-depth explanations. This article is targeting the fat loss crowd but the same principles apply for long distance running. Anaerobic exercise Anaerobic exercise causes the energy system to shift towards burning predominantly carbohydrates (carbs) simply because movements require more effort. Energy is needed quickly for fast and/or power movements and because sugars (carbs) burn much more easily they form the major source of energy for exercises with high effort such as weight training, squash or sprinting. As much as 90% carbs can be used during anaerobic exercises. Although bear in mind that high intensity exercise can only be performed for a limited time, depending on the fitness level of the individual, thus during periods of rest the energy system will shift back and a little more fat may be burned, although this is only a minor change. Examples of Anaerobic Exercises : Weight training with frequent rest intervals between exercisingSoccer, where a player may run around the pitch until out of breath (burning up to 90% carbs)Interval training joggingTIPS : Practice aerobic exercises for 15 to 30 minutes at the end of anaerobic exercises to help the recovery and the fat burning process. Aerobic exercises Aerobic exercises which are generally performed at a slower pace and with less effort usually burn a greater degree of fat. Fat is a slow-burning fuel which requires oxygen and exercising at lower effort enables the cells to use this energy more efficiently, meaning a greater percentage of fat can be burned, up to 70% of total energy used when exercising aerobically. Obviously some people will have greater fitness levels and able to workout at a higher rate of effort and still be exercising aerobically, this will allow the fitter person to burn more calories. Examples of Aerobic Exercises : Long distance run. Runners are very lean because they burn lots of energy and still use mostly fat.Quick paced walkNordic walkingTIPS : Individual fitness levels mean it is important to workout within your own Target Heart Rate when trying to lose fat weight. Or as a beginner a good tip to use when exercising is to make sure you can still manage a conversation during a workout. In other words you want breathing to be deeper than normal but not out of breathe so you cannot talk.

    Looking for endurance tips...

The key to endurance is heart rate. Once you start training based on heart rate you will have sustained energy for hours. Training over your aerobic threshold uses up your sugar stores and stresses your cardiovascular system. This type of training is anaerobic and has its benefits but not for endurance. So how do you tran under or at your aerobic threshold? First you need to calculate your aerobic threshold. A baseline is 180 - you age. You may find that you need to adjust this if the perseived effort is too low. A good rule of thumb is that while you are jogging you should be able to hold a conversation without getting out of breathe. You will need to use a heart rate monitor while you jog. You need to keep your heart rate no more than 5 beats from your calculated aerobic threshold. This trains your body to use glycogen stores versus sugar for energy. Your aerobic training is slow and long jogs. Not intervals, not speed work not "fat burning drills". There is more info available for this training. This isn't opinion based on what works for me and somebody else. This is science based traininh on the human body.

I would recone to an 18". More cone area in a single 18" than two 10". Enclosure size would be much larger with the 18".

Using the L brackets and glue Never tried just that. . Are you able to clamp good and everything? Every build iv had to do inside of a trunk I didn't really have any room to clamp everything good so always had to use pocket holes I clamp the pieces together then install the L brackets. Afterwards I inspect for gaps. There was only one area that needed additional tension and that was the corner at the 45. One additional screw held that down. One of the benefits of $60/sht wood is that it is flat, at least most of it. Also if you cut your pieces perfectly square and straight gaps or not an issues unless the material is bowed (good luck finding some that isn't).

My bro said his second sub will arrive on Wednesday Burning the midnight oil Laying out the enclosure. When you build an enclosure in the trunk you have to preassemble every fastener and panel before hand. Building an enclosure is fairly simple but assembling it in the trunk is often much harder since you are maximizing every cubic inch.

I am building his enclosure for two DSS 12" powered by two JL Audio 1200/1v3. We are going to need to assemble the enclosure in the trunk. He received one of the subs he is waiting on the second sub to be shipped. Here is the enclosure shape, ignore the dimensions, they have changed. I am using these "L" brackets to locate the panels. These will help a lot during the in-the-trunk assembly. Only issue with these is to make sure you make them square beforehand! Titebond III will hold it all together. Preasssembly has started.
