A guy at work is letting me borrow a battery from his motorcycle for my ATV ride tomorrow. It turns out his battery is the exact cross reference to my ATV's battery, but his is a feather weight battery.

The battery has 2x the power and weighs 3 lbs instead of 10 like my normal battery.

I added that sweet custom spacer to hold it down a bit better.

Are these as explosive as cell phone batteries?

Dirt would produce a different taste.

Here in the north the animals are small. All white tail.

I was thinking maybe they drink from the salt lakes and streams from the great lakes maybe the meat is a tad bit more salty to the taste idk just a thought.

It depends how far north you are talking. In Michigan the dear farther north have to eat different things than the ones farther south.

They get to eat corn and other crops. The ones farther north eat pine cones and what ever else they can find.

Setting up this sa 12 in my brothers car its in a 2.25 ported box tuned to 34hz. It's in a eclipse . if we get the crossover past 60hz the sub sounds horrible. Should the sa be able to play naturally past that say up to 80 or 90hz?

Yes, the problem is probably in the gain setting. What amp are you using?
    its a Sundown saz 1500 running @ 2ohm

That's quite a bit of amp for that box and subwoofer, try turning down the gain a bit and then turn the crossover up.

Though I agree with SSH, crossover above 50-60Hz is too high for my taste, it's a SUBwoofer.

He's only putting 800w rms to a 600w rms sub or less depending where he has the gain set.

But I agree that 60hz to 70hz is a better crossover point.

I agree 2.25 cu ft. is too big for 800w rms.

  4. Well, here is where I tried.  But also Aaron has already been talking with me and is going to get me those mounting parts.

I have gone to their website and contacted them that way. They were very helpful and even had a phone number to call.

We are having crazy cold weather as well.  Was 53 here yesterday morning.  The summer has been absolutely gorgeous though.  We've had almost no hot days, nearly no humidity and along with it the state bird has been hiding as I've only seen 2 mosquitoes all year.  Pretty much been a consistent sunny 80 deg all summer.

Today is going to be nice as well and no daycare so I am probably going to take the boys tubing.

You shipped all them little flying bastards down here.

Don't feel bad they are here too...Little shits been testing positive for west nile around here..

Here in west Michigan the mosquitoes ,horse flies and ticks have been really bad lately.

sorry my cellphone camera isn't great in very close range in low lighting, but you can prob see some nicks/scratches, its more prominent on the top where the wires get tightened on the second pic

the barbara ann also missing any thing to attach to the amp mounting feet, however the BA has included some screws w/ washers to mount it and 2 different sized allen wrenches to loosen the power and speaker terminals.  Was the big ben also supposed to include mounting hardware and tools?

    Did you try contacting them?

You're fucking nuts. You're telling me you do paint cirrection, yet you use a pressure washer on your vehicle?

That's equivalent to you spending an hour prepping for a meal and then cooking it via a microwave.

Pressurized water, even at low pressure, can and will damage the paint. You are effectively etching the surface, not to mention blasting contaminants and water into the paint.

You'd rather rub the salt off? No way.

You'd rather blast the salt into your paint?

You don't rub salt unkess you're using just water. Rinse the loose shit with a hose, then wash with car wash. The detergents encapsulate dirt, salt, and contaminants, and the rinse washes away. It's that simple.

Then why does hand washing seem to scratch the paint?

Anytime you touch the paint, you scratch it. Washing it . Will scratch and degrade it. There's nothing you can do to stop that. All you can try to do is lessen the damage and protect it inbetween cleanings.

I find keeping it waxed helps a lot.

If you drive it daily and keep it clean, you should easily be able to keep rust at bay for many years. My 04 Town Car is a Chicago car driven every day, but the old man had it cleaned nearly every day as well. Not a spot of rust anywhere.

But the average person using their car as a daily driver can't keep it clean enough.
If you care enough about your investment, you will take care of it.
Even when you have a family to raise and finances are tight. Do you feed the family or baby your car?

When it stays below freezing for 3 weeks at a time. Hard to wash it than with no heat.

Plus a lot of people don't have garages to keep their cars in.

Dude, seriously? You're off the deep end here.

What is more important your family or you car?
