hey im having trouble with the rear pair of six and a half memphis mclass coaxials. I keep on blowing the crossovers, and they get crackly on me. The question is what do you guys recomend. I want something for like 200 a pair, and really really loud and clear, and coaxial. Thanks, Steve

yeah im blowing the x-overs. i am running 150 watts rms to the pair, and the x-overs fried when i turned up the volume. and i do hear the back speakers, i sit all the way back in my seat so the speakers are aimed right at my head.

whats wrong with two 15's in a teg. lol

Hey, I did something like what your trying to do. I did it in about 6 hours built and installed, and it sounds great. build the box 32W x 13.5T x 23D, with a 3" by 31.5" slot port. I didnt know about winsID then, i just kinda made it as big as i could and put a huge port in it. IT sounds Great!!! STeve

Hi everyone, just put this new box in my trunk. Thought you all would like a peek. I built and installed this box in about 5 hours, so dont make fun of me. Its 3.5 cubes and the port.... well i really dont know how to port, the box was an experiment, its a slot port 3'x30.5'. It gets a lot louder than the two 15's that i had before. oh yeah 1500watts from rockford fosgate, daily driven.

Hey, Do any of you guys have any suggestions. I have broken three screws holding down my magnum 15 in one day. I put new ones in but the sub is rattling cause the screws arent keeping it down. What kind of screws should i am using 1 5/8 drywall screws. Suggestions?

I am looking into the possible carrer of building speakers and audio equipment. Nick, Jake, Where did you guys go to school after high school to learn how to do all this audio greatness. I dont have a clue where to start looking. I think maybe electrical engineering, but maybe there is a specialty school or something. Let me know anything would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

yeah i think your nutz dude. i have a rock 1501bd running TWO 15' magnums. its to loud when i turn them up. also the amp dont work at 1 ohm, for two subs atleast. they are running at 2 ohm and they wang quite nicely.

Alright folks my friends 200 watt fender bassman with a single 15. is extremly louder than his 2400 watt power amp running 4 15's. i think the poblem is in the amp the amp runs 2x1200 watts at 4 ohm. and the speakers run at 1200x2 at 8ohm. so i tried to run the amp mono to one speaker 2400watts at 4ohm to a 1200watt 8ohm speaker, that made it worse they didnt even get louder than a voice. the amp should be able to turn all the way up but it starts to blink the "im about to blow up light" at about half volume. what is his problem? help help help help help

Yeah the rockford 1501bd really can throw it down. that runs my 2 15's quite nicely. a little to loud for balance in my system though so i usually run it really low, untill i get my speakers amped.

yeah nick you need to get a good video at full excursion. that video is not even close to looking like it does in real life. if you saw it in person you would probably poop yourself.

nick, you should deffinatly put a vid of the 15' mag at full excursion. It is jaw droping.

yeah that was it holy $hit. that was the coolest thing i have ever seen in my life. 2 15's isnt enough for me. my hearing is and was already deviginized from drumline. so i want to maybe get some more fifteen inch, or maybe eighteen inch SI in my trunk. wuahahaha. then again maybe not. that would be alot of sub in a acura integra two door hatch. wuhoo. BTW:welcome to the dual 15' magnum club. you own 2 of 20 of the best subs in the world.

its a 1501bd, and i am deffinatly going to get some tinting done. also i just got that box because it was a cheap alternative to what i wanted. the box i want will cost around 300$, dont think i need it though. once i get some money.
