Are those the Bose 81s?They were damn fine speakers. No apologies at all...
Steve,
do not take the Shivas out of the truck and do nothing with them. If they do not go in your HT, I am gonna come visit you and thump your skull (and I am a big dude too, so don't try me B) ).
Bose 301's Bookshelves(about 10yrs old),they're not made like these anymore, the newer models look & sound like crap

Only had the Hifonics for a couple of months,so far I like them.Like how the badging on the Brutus lights up at nite(its not why I bought it).The ported box sound crazy but I really like the look and sound of the(sealed) wedge style box.As for the difference between the Zeus & Nemesis,I cant say b/c its the 1st time owning any Hifonics amps.Thanx again for the compliments

Glad to hear you are learning something... there is SO much more to enclosure construction then cutting a few holes amd making 6 sides... Obviously you like to experiment, so try differant things with them... pay attention to how certain differances with the enclosure affect the sound of the drivers... Reading is one thing, but experimenting and listening tells more than a few words on a computer screenAbsolutely true, everything I know I've learned thru forums and certain other informative sites available, also by experimenting. You learn alot by trial & error, sometimes costly but for the most part things going right atleast for me

Aladdin? Do you have children? If not, you're as lame as I am. Because I own that movie. And I'm 22 years old. And I have no kids.Disney Channel and yes 'Aladdin' was the bomb anyway(LOL)!

Thanx fellas,I had the setup since the fall of last year(gotta get a digital cam). The Shiva is absolutely amazing, musically & for HT duties.I also have a Tempest that I might build a sealed box for b/c I have no room for ported box.Well heres my setup;Sony Wega,Sony receiver/DVD player,JVC cd player/Super VHS player.Speakers are;all Bose(except sub ofcourse),I know Bose is not the best but I had the fronts for like 10yrs.,they old skool 301(separate angled tweeter/midranger),upgrades for my HT wont come til next year but for now it does the job.

Magnum's can handle 1200-1500 watts rms just fine. 800 won't hurt it.What Nick said, the Mags can move some serious air.As for a box u can do 1-1.25 cf per driver(1/2- 1 lb. of polyfill) ,that size box should fit ur Civic, then hold on & let 'em wang away!
