Why "daily" systems should not count on impedance rise
pro-rabbit replied to sundownz's topic in Sundown Audio
Buy product that will work with in your means. That is what is wrong with the US is that we (as a country) want to live out side of what our means actually allow. -
If it's the same tamu I'm thinking of he will be back.

US Amps
pro-rabbit replied to edouble101's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
No problem, when ever you send it out to a repair tech, ask them to clamp it if they can. Ours normally does that on a 13.4 volt setup to see what kind of output the amps actually have. Since most OS amps were never rated correctly(was all about cheating lol). -
US Amps

BTW- That is not meant to be a "dis" to any online amp repair company. I just get tired of seeing random issues and their policies changing or what amps they will repair slowly be slimmed down to Korean amps only. -
US Amps

I no longer trust most amp repair centers personally. I work with a local that works for other companies. Having him do our work as been the best thing I have done so far. I have only had one issue from him and that was the users fault...not the repair. Imagine that lol -
US Amps
pro-rabbit replied to edouble101's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Should be the 500A actually. Nice old and rare amp you have there. They made several colors of those amps with purple with the silver name plate being the most common. -
1 15 would be right at home in 4-5ft3 net volume with a moderate amount of port area and tuned to work with your application and goals.

US Amps
pro-rabbit replied to edouble101's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Looking at my info on them, it could very well be a 500A which is 1200 @ 4 ohm. Does this have dual inputs? Should be dual power/ground 8 gauge. -
US Amps

Yea, I don't think it's an A series. I could be wrong though. -
US Amps
pro-rabbit replied to edouble101's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I would bet it is rated for around 500-600rms and will do a good 1k. I will see if I can dig through some boxes in the office and pull out some older literature from US and see if I can find anything though. -

Could you get a pic of the side panels? -
Knukonceptz compression fittings
pro-rabbit replied to dbsupra's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Over thinking things more then likely. I have not used those type of fittings in years. Far to much BS to deal with and for the way we wire up everything here it didn't even have any gains other then then it might have had a "cleaner" look to it. -
Visonik V4000XD
pro-rabbit replied to MikeMartel's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have used all the anaba group 4000d amps the clif design cdx-20a the ma audio hk4000d, and the visnoic 4000d. All work great and when used correctly with the proper electrical. I personally set a few records back in the day with these. Been a while but still great amps. Most do not know anything about them other then it says visonic which means they are just tossing out an answer bases on guesses. -
Contact AQ and ask why it was dropped in less then a week... LOL
-
Ineed. I sent you a PM asking a few details about the payment. We have to contact PayPal though to see the reason behind a few of the issues that arose.
-

SSA DCON FOR HOME THEATER
pro-rabbit replied to ClevelandFreeman's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
It can, I would step up to a pretty large enclosure and adjust the port area a bit. The biggest consideration is to make sure you have it the driver and port loading properly. -
That sub looks good....where is the video?

rf 3sixty.3 and ac epicenter
pro-rabbit replied to ballersal22's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I wouldn't use the Epicenter actually. The RF will do everything you need and more. If you simply feel you have to use it because you own it and must use it...then it will hook up after the RF and before your sub amp. I highly suggest not using it though. -
lol, koo..shipping is kind of pricey though so it will be around 350 for shipping.

We will be closing in about an hour and will not be returning to the offices until Tuesday. We will be checking emails randomly and production will be running for a few hours on Friday/Saturday so this should not be putting any delays on current orders other then maybe by a day at most. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and stays safe!!!

I can do a package deal with some 2/0 copper ring terminals as if anyone is needing some.
