What happens when someone pushes the report button when someone is belittling someone else in a thread? like who sees it and what exactly would be a good reason to do it. does continual rudeness count? Why isnt there a thread where a normal poster as myself could go and report abuse from a moderator for all to see? and there could not be vindictive behavior as retaliation? it seems to be a common thing on here that is not addressed and could be. thanks for your time. Zbeen there done that bro..just go straight to the admins if you really want to get something done.

Buy a 100' spool of string (maybe $2?).Use it to determine how long your runs need to be.
Run wires.
The end.
i did that i came up with about 32 feet..but i just want to make sure there will be no surprises..

Well it's going to be a daily driver that will be louder than any of the cars at any of the shows within ~100 miles. Highest score was a low 150 last year - 150.? ... so I just want to mainly keep as much noise as possible IN since it's gonna be a daily driver with 8-15k RMS ...300sq ft ... eek ... oh well, American Express will love me and my girl will hate me.
your system will consist of 8 of the 15k rockford amps? or you where saying in total it will be 8-15k rms?

Why not just get a full spool? You're already on the large side of the wire. Might as well just get 50'.cause its a rip off..lol a 50 foot spool cost $250 i am getting these kits for $85 shipped 3 kits will give me 60 feet of the 0 guage not to mention a load of everyone else for only $5 more

heres the situation..from my battery under the hood to the back of my truck is about 10 feet..but im giving a extra 3 feet better to have more then less..and im also running 2 batteries under the hood with 2 batteries in the back..now keep in mind i have never installed my own stuff ive always had people i know and trust do it..so im just buying the wires for them..so by my calculations i should need somewhere around 25-30 feet of 0 guage wire to fulfill this project? by the way the 2 batteries in front will be about 4 feet apart from each other..1 on each side and in the back the other 2 batteries will be next to each other.and there will be 2 amps back there has well..currently i have 60 feet of 0 guage kicker wire..

do you have a more direct question that i can help you with? lolcause the way i see this question... is thats why you have more batterys.... it takes the power from there not your alt...
your gonna run two 3ks'? what size bls had how many?
no this question has nothing to do with subs..lol..im just trying to understand those numbers..

in the sticky where they did a test this is what was read
Power supply voltage was 16.5 volts at rest dropping to around 14.5 volts. So consider this a 14.5 volt output rating.
Our clamp meter ran out of steam at 400 amps so we measured efficiency at lower levels:
3294 watts @ 84% efficiency (252 amps draw)
3938 watts @ 81% efficiency (316 amps draw)
4424 watts @ 74% efficiency (392 amps draw)
here is my question and i want to get a better understanding of this so bear with me for a minute..lol
3294 watts with 252 amps draw..now lets say your running 2 of the 3k watt models which would be 504 amps draw? and if your alt is only a 300 amp alt how does that work? im sure i have something wrong but this is the stuff that keeps me up at night..lol

for a full size truck i think you need a minimum of 300sq ft..ant the owner of second skin told me to start around 360sqft that should be enough to do 2 layers all over the truck..
