Id like to ask for some tips. I see on my claim that there is a timeline, it says dispute>escalation>awaiting other party's response>requiring your actions>PayPal reviews>closed.
What do they mean by requiring your actions? Right now, it's on awaiting others party's response, so the requiring your actions is coming up. Can anyone give me a heads up so I don't mess this up lol.
Btw other party never responded yesterday, and yesterday was the last day PayPal gave him to respond. Soooo I assume requiring your actions is coming up soon lol.

Def do a review. I plan to order mine in a few weeks. They are apparently pretty awesome for the price.
Will do. Buying them from the ssa store Monday.

For the money they are very hard to beat for running passive.
That's why they are my number one pick lol. I'm excited to get them because right now all I have is stock front stage off head unit lol.

Sounds like you should get your money back. Make sure you made it public on the forum you bought from him so that he doesn't turn around and say you didn't pay or something.
Yeah I had him on the buyer beware on caraudioclassifieds awhile back stating that I paid and he hasn't responded. Im pretty sure he's just totally ignoring the situation in hopes he won't lose anything. What a bum. Terrible experience.

I felt with the proper amp the SQ was better.I have ran those IA components and have used the best alpine type r. The IA's are the way to go for the money.
That is some great news! So what was better about these vs the type r's? Louder? More midbass? Better SQ overall? You had them amped correct?
Nice. My amp will most likely be a sax100.2 for these comps.
Okay, I'm pretty set on these. Thank you!

I agree, big 3 in some big wires. If you don't know how to do the big 3 there are a bunch of videos on YouTube. And grab a stinger voltmeter from eBay for about $25. Best of luck to ya.

It's finally June 9th!! The seller still has not responded so hopefully I will get my money back today. The odds seem to be in my favor, I left some comments saying how I paid for the amp and he hasn't responded to me and then when I filed a claim he said he would ship it out and never did. Then I filed a dispute and he still has spoken to me since I filed a claim.
Umm, I should win this dispute right?

They are great comps for the price, I ran a set for a while. Amp them for sure
Sounds good to me. But how well do they perform vs some other components that you've had if you can tell me please.

I'm in the market for a new front stage and I'm thinking about trying a component set. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop, sometimes dubstep. I'm looking at the Incriminator audio 6.5" components because they seem to have some good feedback and well in my price range. Would you guys recommend these to me? Or anything else you guys recommend? They will be in stock door locations. The 6.5s in stock location and tweeters in stock a pillar locations. Will be getting clean 100rms to each side. Gains turned down. I'm not too familiar with comp sets and what to look for. I'm just looking for some good SQ with some loudness. Thanks for your help guys. Sorry if what I've posted isn't enough, again I'm not too sure to look for lol.
get them... amp them... enjoy them... also, review them...
P.S. purchase them.... NOW
Lol are you recommending then because you'd like a review also? We'll I haven't heard anything negative about the comps. And for $120 it's a steal for a comp set. Right now they are definitely #1 in my list of choices. But how will these compare to rf t1 comps or alpine type r comps?
Lol if I purchase them it wouldnt be until Monday anyways. Need some money in the bank.

I can sell you a personally gently used Sundown SAX-125.2 if your interested in buying from me here on SSA. I'm no scammer. I rep for Sundown in SD and ND.
What's SD and ND? And I am interested in another 2 channel for my front stage. Pm coming your way.

Establish GOOD contact first. Maybe get a cell number or something. Then ask HIM to send YOU an invoice and you pay for it then.
Cool. Thank you, I totally forgot about getting his number. Alright I will do that. Thank you!

Alright so I'm in the market for a sax 100.2 and found a guy on caraudioclassifieds for $140 shipped and it looks to be in very good condition.
http://www.****/forum/2-channel-amplifiers/125129-sundown-sax100-2-a.html
And I'm prepared to buy on Saturday (tomorrow) or by monday but I'd like to ask for you guys to help me in not allowing the chance of getting scammed this time. How can I send him an invoice first? What steps should I take to have this deal go smoothly. Or do you guys think I shouldn't do it?
EDIT: I'm sorry the link won't work. But in the pictures it's very clean and in excellent condition. I'd say 9.5 cosmetically. He says it's in 100% working condition as well.

Nope. He still hasn't been online since 5/26. I have to wait till June 9th and if he doesn't respond by then, PayPal will decide who gets the money.

Very nice setup!!! I also have a 96 coupe. Do I see a wall in the future?

Why not a 200w amp then?
Because I planned on getting a sax 125.2 or maybe go for a sax 100.4 like I originally planned.

this has been covered, search it here in SSA there is a 8 page topic on it.
whats blowing my mind.... your so cheap.. yet your asking about an high dollar company.
Well I wasn't sure if it was a high dollar company. But thanks I'll check out the previous thread.

Oh that link wasn't in my search bar? Cool I messages them for prices on their 600w subwoofer. Seems like a legit company

My friend told me about this audio company that just came out. Apparently they are really goodbut i have never heard of them nor found some demos on the internet. I also cant find their site for their stuff or prices. Have any of you guys heard of them? I wouldnt mind trying their equipment out lol. Like on YouTube all i see is them showing their stuff but not actually playing. They have like 2500w minimum amps and go up to 5k.

Lol yeah I was thinking "clamped" was clipped signal for some reason. So I can still be on the cheaper end and get less of a powerful amp and get almost the same output as the powerful amp, in this situation with the variables we tested. The gain in db from more powerful amps is mostly for competition right? As in, that'll be why they do it.
While your comparison was generally useless for the conclusions you were trying to draw from it (that a 400w amp sounds like a 1kw amp), you're actually not very far off from the truth. Which is that it takes very dramatic increases in power to make any really significant differences in output. As you can figure out from the formula stephan posted earlier, if you double the power output increases by a maximum of 3db. So even if we assume zero power compression, the difference in output between 500w and 1kw would be audible but not substantially so. If we factor in some amount of power compression, the difference could be anywhere from still audible to not audible at all.
So it's entirely possible to save money, buy a 500w amp instead of a 1kw and end up just as happy with minimal audible difference in output.
Right on lol. Because I have a system because I like listening to music in my car, upgraded. I'm not into competitions trying to get big numbers or anything. If musically I can get away with a 400w amp that'll sound almost the same as a 1000w, I will. Saves me money. Thank you I learned something today.

so the sub was a dual 2?
Yes

if you want to look at it that way sure, but, your results are not common something along the way was not correct IMO> amp settings, ohm load, somthing
my first question would be.. what was the final ohm load that you were presenting each of the amps...
i know for a fact that the 125.2 is only rated for a 4 ohm mono load. and a 2 ohm stereo load.
We had the 125.2 bridged at 4 ohms and the 1000d @ one ohm
