One step closer. Hopefully I will finish before the end of the week.

Also if my subs are too deep, what is the way to make them fit? I can not add spacers to the front of the box. Should I just sand the back behind the magnet til it fits? Or just cut a hole in the back and cover it with possibly thin metal (1/8" steel)?

  2. I am finally starting my build for my crew cab hd. It may take me a while to finish due to my full time job. So i can only do it in the little time i have after work before dark. The build will consist of (including items already installed):

    1x Crescendo BC2000

    1x Merlon MEAM50.4

    4x Sundown SA-8 V2

    1x Stinger SPP1500D

    1x Mechman 270a Alt

  3. Yup. Didn't want the same old under the seat box.

And I'm sorry but I forgot that torres didn't give the right specs cuz i was using 5/8", but the specs are:

    1.9 cubes gross

    1.48 after all displacements

    Port: 1.625"x4.75 each

    Tuned to 35 hz

If you want the box dimensions I will post them too, if requested.

  4. I like the symmetrical look and I believe it made it a little easier than one big port on the bottom. And its on the bottom cuz he wanted it there. And i figured that it might help using the extra part of the box than by the sub..

  5. A friend of mine asked me to build him a box for his 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 ext. cab truck for 1 Alpine Type R 12. And this is what i came up with...

I will post pics of the installion later...

  6. Thanks ill check it out. And its weird cuz only the front speakers are doing it. The backs are fine. I found some more Sonys that I had in another vehicle to use. And its not really a buzzing. Its only audible when there is plain talking. Hopefully that link will help
