Now that i know i have enough volume to do one in a ported box with optimal conditions... I wonder what one would sound like in a 4th order . Time to compare the IXL's to the mj's mark

quick question mark. how would one of those IXL's sound in a 10 ft^3 box ported in the high 20 low 30 range, you think it would be louder that 2 mj-18 in the same box, and both setup's with the recommended rms. Thanks in advance

It will probable be a few weeks before i start buying suplies but i thank the 15's are looking a little more tempting just for the sake of building a box for them with out having to build the box inside the truck and i would love to keep my foot room. so i figure the 15's will give me plenty of output with a ported at a low 30 hertz.

yeah il probably get two of the 15's or two of the mj's. but still deciding

well as of right now i have no budget, and can wait for a least 6 months if need be. but i would just like some input of which would sound the best (ie. loud and low) with my limited space. right now i have a small system but two tens arnt cuting it any more because the set before them were 12's that didnt last long on my new memphis amp but its good i can wait

Alright to start off i dont mind waiting for a little. So the question is what should i wait for . I have and ext cab s10, i believe if i do a half wall i will be able to put two of the spl 12's he has cooking in a ported box in the back. or i could go will two of his 15's in a ported box, or finally one IXL 18.4 in a very big and stuffed sealed box.. I would love a lot of output, i could deal with a little SQ but spl is my main concern, as well as lows i absolutly love my lows so what do you thank i should get. I dont know exactly how much i can fit back there but it should be around 7-9 cubes for the half wall.
