Well i took the back left seat out... Made a 2 or so cubic foot ported box tuned to 33 ish hz. But i have a 06 tundra access cab... No room for big speakers! But mine sounds way better than any others iv heard.. But at the same time im 17 and dont know many people with syatems in their cars. But yes it can take high input and my head unit is about 20rms... The old amp was my first amp for my sub woofer.. I got a sub and amp for $100... A lanzar max12 and a pyramid classic 1000 watt amp... Haha made a sealed box with my dad and fiberglassed it nice. That was a very "pretty" box. Haha but it did sound pretty good too. Well when i finally got my new amp. Its a powerbass 400.2 thats on my x12 now. But im a bit nervous about the pyramid amp on my door speakers.... Hope it dosnt ruin the quality of sound from the headunit to the doors...

I have an old 2 channel amp that i wAnt to put in my truck. Should it go on tye front door 6.5s or on the back door 6.5s? My sub is in the back seat also... But what would sound better? Iv been told the back would sound better... But i feel the front would. What do you guys think? They are the kicker ds series 6.5s and its like a 40rms amp or so per channel... Coment please!

600w @ 4ohm bridged. $160 shipped. 4-channel version tested by PASMAG met rated power, I see no reason that amplifier shouldn't. No idea the color of the LEDs though.
Thats only 400rms...

Haha alright man. Thanks

Well it says 750 rms.... So its almost double power... But what really makes an amp not good?

It would be a waste of time and money, stick with the powerbass.
Why do you say that? And would the next larger one be more worth it for me? Or should i just not even think about that company?

Sound storm laboratories... F2600d amplifier. Powerbass puts out 400rms.. The ssl amp says it puts out 750... But idt its cea certified.. And wanted to ask about it. Its really cheap but figured get more power and gain down... Idk. I just want more power for my x12. Shooting for around 600 or even more possibly but very low funds...

So does this really put out 600rms at 4 ohms? Or would i be better off with my power bass 400.2? Im hoping to sell my power bass to a friend and buy the ssl for $130
Coments Please!

I have all green led lights in my truck and i know that a lot of companys make amps with blue lighted logos but i want a green lighted logo. I need an amp that is 600 rms at 4 ohms. For my FI x12. Or if any one knows of one thats closer to 1000rms at 4 ohms but still cheap that would be great. I know my budget is really low but its about 150... Thanks for any help

Lol thanks. I think il charge like 30 a set of doors to install. And sell the box for 130. And charge like 50 to wire up the amp for the sub. Does that sound reasOnable?

Hoping to get the powerbass 15 inch sub and power it with an audiopipe apsm 1300. As you can tell it's a budget bass project. but are there any better options for the same price or less? Or does anyone have any come tsunami about the amp or subwoofer? Any experience with this equipment?

The pg comp set has a low sensitivity rating and makes me think it wouldn't be that good without an amp.. I know everyone here is all about American made audio. And I will most likely get the Dcon and hopefully make my own box. But I guess I'm asking about other component sets. Not just American made..

So can anyone recomend some good components for just the front door? I was actuly not planning to amp the doors... So I want one pair of components.. And what sub or subs should I go with? One 15"? In the trunk... Any recommendations on a nice cheap low powered sub would be great! Thank you for anyhelp you can give

Iv never re wired a door for an amp. But I think I could do that. And iv never used components either. I'm pretty new to this but thank you for that advice! I was def going in the wrong direction...

Alright well I have a very low budget for all door speakers and some bass... I definatley need the 5.25 door speakers. And I can't decide to either get 2 12s and leave my 6x9s out so it's just holes there. Or should I amp a set of 6x9s and no subs? My budget it around 400 for everything, speakers wires amps everything... It's all going in a 98 olds mobile alero. Thanks for any help you can give!

My first sub was a Lanzar max12 st and I was extremely happy with that speaker. It got very loud in my opinion for the price and sounded very good aswell. It looks like junk but it's loud and sounds good. And takes abuse

.Sketchup sucks, next time try a 2d cad program. cadstd is very simple.
As far as the box what are you using to model it? You need to size the ports for the amount of power used. It is easiest to use WinISD for this, you can find it on Facebook. That should be able to answer your questions about how big the port needs to be.
Thank you for that. Iv really just been going off of whatever someone says is "good enough" for my port. But is the cadstd Free to use?
