    Ready to buy

I have that same setup in my truck....Remember. I do like the XT. The tweets will probably be mounted up by the side view mirror. There's a plastic trim I can glass and point both tweets towards the center console. This is just a theory. I will have to mess with different places before that, although I think they would look sweet in that position. I'm looking for a really good system in the car. I would love to bring my home system sound into the car, but I'm not willing to spend that much, nor would it be worth the effort (for me) with the acoustics of a car.

    Ready to buy

I will probably stick to the 2 way up front. I may be willing to go three-way in the future, but let's stick with the two way for now. Is there another 8" driver that you may like? I'm not limiting myself to just the driver's that I listed. These seemed like a good choice from what I've read over a Zaph. Thanks!

    Install: Line Out Converter

Great. Do I still need to run the ground on the Converter. If so, Could I just run a wire from the HU to the Converter? Thanks a million. This has been bothering me for a while.

If budget is a concern, I would go with the AA Arsenal.

Top mounting depth for 10" Arsenal 6 1/8. Getting ready to install one in a friends Ford Edge. Great looking sub. Much beefier than the previous model. There is also a felt pad attached to the underside of the cone by the leads. I guess this is to prevent lead slap being heard. Not sure, but I'm sure there is a good reason. I'll try and have pics of the sub later tonight. Herre are the PICS of the 10" Arsenal.

I don't understand how you can have the T/S parameters but no mounting depths for the subs. All this takes is a simple measuring tape and a few key strokes. Some of us would like to use these in installs that limit us on this aspect. Could you please post these numbers for the 3 lines. Thanks. Any more news on the Comps?

    Re-attaching headliner material

If there is a foam backing, run your hand across the foam and see if any of it flakes off. If it does, the foam needs to get replaced. The foam and not the adhesiveis usually the problem and in a 20 year old vehicle, it's more likely that the foam has just bit the dust. Good Luck!!!

Yet another Extended Cab done right. Looks great. Did you have any problems with the bench seat hitting the amp when the seat is up?

    Nope.
  17. I have a few spare 10" Alpine Type S dual 2ohm subs that have been sitting around for a little over a year with no home. I'm planning on using one of them in a friends sealed box (.75) running it at 1ohm using the Zed Minilith. The Alpine is rated at 300rms. The Zed is rated a bit over 600rms at 1ohm. Id this too much for that sub, or should I just wire it to a 4ohm load.

    Moving to Hampton, VA

As it says. I'm moving to the Hampton, VA area in the next 6 months or so. Looking for a good safe place to live. Any suggestions. Looking to rent a home first and them look at the housing market. 20 or so miles from Hampton is about all I would like to comute.

I have a 03 silverado ext cab, need help!!!

I'm running 2 10" AA Arsenals. The new line should be out shortly (I hope). I really like the way they sound and for the price, it's hard to beat. Only about 6" mounting depth and the 12" would need around 1.2 for each in a sealed box.

  21. I'm getting ready to help a friend out with adding an aftermarket sub and amp to her 2008 Ford Edge. She is keepint the stock H/U. She bought a Stinger Line Output Converter (SLOCII). It a two channel LOC and I'm installing it into a Zed Minilith. Now the Minilith requires that all four input channels have RCA connected to get full signal (6db less for each RCA that is not plugged in I believe). The Stinger converter has five connectors 2 each for + - and a ground. I'm installing an Alpine Type S 2+2ohm to the Amp. Here is my question... I cannot just plug in the factory harness to the Stinger unit (It has 2 channels and all I need is one). How do I connect this sucker? I have a basic idea, but I wanted some more expertise on this. Thanks!!

    Working out Recipes

Your body will adjust to the amount of water you take to a point. NEVER over do it. I'm not a tall guy myself, and I make sure that I drink 1 gallon of water a day. A bit more on heavy work out days. Some people will piss more if they are uping the water intake. You will start to shed water weight this way. Your body stores water to use for energy and well-being. If you get it used to having plenty of water going in and out of your system, them your body will store less water in general. What is your goal? Do you have a reference of someone that your looking to use as your goal? This may help. You could join the military and get in shape real quick.

A nice 12oz glass of water in the morning (at the most 30 minutes after waking up)will give you metabolism a wake up call. How many ounces of water are you drinking on a day? How old are you if you don't mind me asking.

A great book to read is the Abs Diet book. It's not really a diet, but more of a lifestyle. It reads very well and is really geared toward the guys aspect of things. If your not eating soon after you wake up, that's a bad thing. Breakfast is called breakfast for a reason. Your body has not had anything put in it for about 6-8 hours (depending on how long you sleep). Your body REALLY needs a pick me up in the morning. At least a 12oz glass of water. You have to break the fast. A simple recipe for the morning can be this. 1 cup non-fat milk 1/2 cup instant oatmeal nuked in the microwave with water (not much, just enough to get a good cook and thickness) 1 cup fruit of your choice (bannana or frozen berries) 2 cups of ICE 1 Tablespoons of Flax Seed. 1 scoop of protein powder ( I use ISOPURE) Mix in a blender till you have a good blend. 300-500 calories. It a great balance of carbs and protein and will keep you full till lunch. I usually put mine in a container and drink half before work and sip till around lunch time. Get the Abs book. It has LOTS of recipes for you throughout the day.
