Thanks for clearing up some of my misconceptions. I have just heard people say 15's have a harder time keeping up with faster music...or something to that effect. (I like hip hop, classic rock, 80's/90's and getting into this dubstep (?) ...so a single 15 Gcon might satisfy my thirst? That would be the cheapest route.Thanks M5, definitely food for thought. I think you would be really happy with an xcon in a ported box if you can fit it properly

I have 2 runs of 0 and running 2 more sometime when I get time ( already have it) . . I was wondering if you need the same amount of ground as you do power.like Should I use 2 of the runs for ground and 2 for power or all 4 power and 4 grounds in the back or 3 power and 1 ground from front and 2 grounds in the back or what? There will be at least 4 runs no matter what. Just seeing what y'all think I should do

Everything has been good forreal. Just wanted to add more. . . Have 220 amp alt and 5 75 ah batts and a 80 ah batt. . Volts would only sometimes be down in the low 13s. . . Just figured more couldn't hurt lol. . And already have enough for the other 2 runs. Going to be running more than the ap amp with the new build just to let y'all know. . . . Going to either be another ap3000. . A bc3500 or 2 bc2000s depending on what deals I find

Out of curiosity why the extra step?Also can be hard if your flush mount depth isn't a complete board...Extra step as in not gluing together first? Because gluing and screwing the first .75 inch piece down to the box first always seemed to secure it better to me than screwing a 1.5 inch thick piece to it.... that's just me though

I screw them together and cut holes then take apart then glue and screw the first piece to box then the second piece on top of that

Posting again about my recone. Just bord and wanting it bad lol. Sucks it takes this long cause Iv had a few people iv built boxes for want ssa subs after hearing mine but wouldnt order any cause how long its taking me just to get a recone.. I know its hard to keep up with orders but I know there would be a lot more subs sold if there was less time to wait

Its a 05 sable..... right now I have 2 powers from the front and 2 grounds in the back and it does alright but I'm adding 2 more runs and didn't know if I should just use them as more power or do at least one ground run

I would just add the other run of 0 since you say you have it. Mite as well. I had 2 runs running 3000 watts with cheap fuse holders and nothing ever got any kind of hot.
