    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

It's in the low 60's and the kids are complaining that it's "freezing" outside, I have no idea what would happen to poor Florida kids if they ever had to tackle -5. Maybe something about the warmer temperatures and fiberglass door panels filled with super tweeters, I wonder...

Suggest a loud 10" sub for a sealed box

An Icon will have more output, but it's over $250. I also like sealed enclosures, but am having a ported one built for my Sundown E15 because I want more output. Have you done any sound deadening? If your ride is quieter, the perceived volume of your sub will be greater.

Set the low pass filter anywhere from 60-120hz, it all depends on what sounds good to you and the ability of your front speaker to play mid-bass. Most people set it around 80hz, but there are many options. The sub sonic filter is designed to protect your subs from playing frequencies you can't even hear. If your subs are in a sealed box you probably don't even need it, if in a ported box a couple hz below your port tune or in the mid/low 20s should be fine.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

There is one good thing about that. The average guy might stand up to be heard, and that attitude will shift shit next term. It's easy to lose site of the big gains Republicans made at the state level, and there is no doubt there will be mid term gains in congress. We do have Hope that there will be Change.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Heard an Obama quote this morning, he want's to be a better President this term than the last one, my first thought was "wow, that can't be very hard at all", but then I heard about his new strategy to ignore Republicans and go directly to the public. It's going to be a long 4 years my friends...

    JL stealthbox with Icon 10"

I don't know, JL does a ton of research and that's a really small box.
  10. Congrats, that amp looks way cool.

I'm pretty sure the slow loading is a server issue, so I don't see how it would be any different on your mac--unless Safari is caching pages like crazy. Couldn't tell you, just enjoying Mac'y goodness!

The site never ran slow on my Mac and iPhone, but is majorly crawling on my PC.
  14. That's one of the selling points of the LC2i, it will take either low or high level outputs. Either way, you're set.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Want me to bring some down? I have a couple. If you want sure, but you don't have to, thank you though. I'm totally focused on financially leveling myself post-divorce now. So I am keeping large or expensive purchases to a zero. And a handgun is not even in my top 25 priorities. Large or expensive purchases is relative. I won't spend a lot on a firearm so I'm into military surplus. I bought a Russian Makarov pistol for $170, and a 1932 Nagant revolver for $100, but the ammo's pretty pricey on that one- about $40 a box.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Maybe run a "woofers for weapons" deal on SSA products. Just kidding, that would be a legal nightmare.

    Welcome to the IHoP

There is a world of difference between owning a firearm and lawfully carrying one. My advice, go shooting with a friend! If you like it, buy a gun. If you love it, become more and more familiar with them, then buy and learn about lawful carrying.

Why is the site this charcoal colour? I didn't mind the bar to quick links to the other network sites, I'm not digging the charcoal background though. Am I alone?
  22. Sound processors like the JBL's MS8 and JL's Clean Sweep were not in my budget so I went with the LC2i. I didn't have a factory amp and I was not happy with the low end response from a passive LOC. The LC2i has speaker wire inputs, either high or low power-doesn't matter, and gives you one full range output and one "bass enhanced" low level output. It does NOT do anything near the Matrix bass adding component, but I was very happy with the results. You will not have the ability to fade. It's perfect for one amp to components and one (or two with a RCA Y adapter) sub amp. If you want to run active or want EQ or time alignment options, you should look into the MS8, which retailed for $800.

    Any upstate NY Box builders?

Cheap and good don't go together, but if you can't find anyone in NY, check out DC creations. They are an approved vendor on this site and their work looks amazing.
