  5. We have several of the older style SPL-Lab logo Meters we need to get rid of and are marking them down considerably. We are leaving for Finals tomorrow and will be back Monday. The Meters will come with a software disc, charge cable and wireless dongle just like a new meter would. These meters are lightly used for testing purposes but ensure full functionality. We are getting rid of these for $389 shipped! PM Me if interested and we will send invoice to be paid. Anyone who may want one at Finals, let me know now so we can get it ready for you.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

We have a 4k theater in town now.. but seriously.. it still doesnt even look 1080. Televisions are still far more crisp than the projectors.. One day.. one day.. theaters will be epic...

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Just remember guys.. If you ever get into 3d tvs, make sure whatever you are "used to watching" on your current 2d TV, double the refresh rate for 3d. 120hz 2d = 240hz 3d. 240hz 2d = 480hz 3d. Not doing so will half the perceived refresh rate and you will not like it. I haven't personally watched any, but i'd always been a fan of active plasma 3d by Panasonic Viera series. Plasmas are of the highest refresh rate of 600hz and the picture was awesome. I am biased towards panasonic's plasmas in one specific reason. When Pioneer shut down their TV line, many of the engineers that designed Pioneers high-end Plasma TVs went to Panasonic to resurrect the Plasma technology. Panasonic has been booming ever since. Of course Panasonic doesn't sell $7,000 55" tvs either but what they do sell is awesome. Let's not forget that Panasonic was also the first to make a 150" 4000p TV. Of Course it's not on their website so it may have been a marketing stunt but still a unique design.

it's also only 120hz. Doesn't cover the full viewing spectrum of possibilities. I'm real picky when it comes to something that is to be used all the time. In my opinion, If you want to use a TV, no 3d and the main watching television, i'd be looking for 240hz. IF it's for the bedroom, 120hz is fine for light to casual watching. I'm not going to be brand biased as i do not know LGs potential off hand but I do know Samsung and Panasonic are pretty top notch in the TV market. They offer many lines of the same size so you get the TV that fits your needs. Samsung has MANY lines of televisions to fill the gap for everyone's needs and budget.

Used Wireless SPL Meters - SPL-Lab

We just recently received one of these meters back that is appeared to have an internal fault in it. We do not sell inaccurate products whether they are new, used, leased, on sale, discounted or for any other reason without our knowledge. Because of this, All customers who order the remaining inventory of these devices will require a 24-48hr testing procedure prior to shipping to ensure our products are up to standard without issues.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Passive 3D? Passive 3d is what is used in theaters and many TVs. Passive 3d has no electronic interaction with the tv. Active 3d, like a tv, refreshes the actual lenses many times a second which creates the 3d picture. The original active 3d was so slow, you could actually see the flashes in the lenses which made many people dizzy, sick, etc. That gave active 3d a bad wrap. Now, since tech has gotten better, I prefer Active 3d over Passive 3d.. Yea the glasses can be $$$ but i'm paying for better depth as well.
  11. In a recent effort to expand our user market to more operating systems, we are now expanding our own hardware device capability. Users who currently own Wired Measuring devices or users who plan on purchasing need not solely look into a Wireless Meter for Android functionality. Yes, you read that correctly! Basically, you would purchase an adapter to convert our usb cable into the proper USB type to plug into your phone or tablet(Android devices). With the right compatible Android device, you will be able to now run our USB Meter and RTA Meter. This means users can now purchase a portable RTA system from us now for use on Android devices. We cannot guarantee Android device compatibility so we created a FREE testing version of the Android software that can be downloaded here- FREE Android Compatibility Test The FREE version intentionally makes measurements read inaccurate. This FREE version is only used to ensure the software will work with your device. If it can, you can go to the Play Store and search for "spllab" and download the Measurement Center. If you currently have our software installed, please uninstall before attempting to install this version(including the FREE version as well). You can also go here and purchase this new Android version - New Android Version. Paid version.

    Tantric Sounds

i dont have to have experience on it to know. I have seen just headunit swaps change people's scores on the meter. The point someone was about to assume is that sticking with one brand will always net you the best performance and that's not true. One particular speaker will not be the best in all applications. Therefore there is no reason to see someone do a 180 with some legacy drivers and think that's what it takes to win. Pioneer has even been in the 180 class. It's not the subs, it's the installation.
  17. shizzzon

    Tantric Sounds

No.. With what's on the market now, changing from one sub to another isn't a massive change. Upgrading electrical, more power, tuning enclosure is many times better than switching sub brands. Some subs may have better advantage in your application but there is no one sub that is the best in everyone's application\vehicle.

  21. I need the connector that goes on my alternator that the wire harness plugs into for my 2008 scion xb. I see ebay sells Repair kits that come with these but no one on there sells kits for this vehicle. Also, i can't find this connector anywhere, lol.. Ebay sells them for the xA but that's it.. I am wanting to fabricate my own VCM Wire harness without splicing into anything to make it look more professional. I will be doing the following- Purchase a VCM harness for a GM. The female plug on my car would need to go to a male scion xb connector(which is what i'm looking for) to a GM Female connector(that i need to get), then plugs into the VCM, then out of the VCM(GM female), i need a GM Male connector(that i need to get) to a Female scion xb connector(that i can probably just cut off at a junkyard) to the alternator. So.. i am looking for the following- Female and Male 2008 scion xb alternator connector GM Male and Female connector for whatever harness i choose to buy. I hear these are easy to find so i'm more interested in finding the Toyota ones.

    IAK needs an "IHOP"

UPDATE- For those that have been getting the new Da Mafia 6ix 6ix Commandments Album, I am making it now and it is flawed. 1- There are 2 versions of it. One is the free version. You will know it is the free version because it only has 12 tracks, track 1 and 12 are into\outro and Trap-A-Holics is dubbed over the beginning of the songs. The other version, the REAL version has 13 tracks. The intro has been removed and 2 bonus tracks are added at the end. 2- The REAL version is HEAVILY under-gained. Playing this version in your car will not as "LOUD" as other music you are used to hearing. I am fixing it now and will be adding it to the Custom Mod collection in it's own folder not to be confused with actually modding it in accordance to how i do other music.

A switch would be pointless because preout voltage from HU changes with volume and source material. What you would want is clipping suppression that is used in many Pro Audio devices.
