Well im currently pushing 2 of the 15's with an orion 600d amp. i think they are getting around 200 to each sub. and I know they will take waayyy more than that.... If I go with a single 15 setup with 500watts on the one sub. will it sound better than the 2 15's with 200 each? I know there is an issue with cone area that effects the sound or whatever. I just want to be close or better than how my two 15's are now.... The right sized enclosure will help too. Currently the box is 2.5^3 for both 15's i know, its horrible but. yea. If I can get the one 15 to sound good and loud i wil be happy. and it will help on the money issue. thanks

bump..... obviously nobody knows.... maybe it would be simpler if I just asked of a good set of tens that would sound good in my g6. i was wanting 3 of them. cheap too. like i said im in college.

I recently got a 2006 Pontiac G6 and I want to carry over most of my curent system. i.e. HU, Maw-15's. But the G6 comes with 6.5's in the doors and 6x9's on the back deck. Which opens up all kinds of possibilities since my last car only had 6x8s all the way around. My question is. What speakers will be good to have? I seen the Mach 5 6.5s but I really would like to keep the speakers the same brand. So What Speakers are a good choice. My Budget is Probably about $200. lets say i dont go with a comp set. and i'm going to do something different for a xover later. What can i do for some 6x9s? I really am interested in trying the mach 5 6.5's as my subs are also mach 5. Also my stock tweet size is 1.5. I want to put nothing bigger than an inch tweet in. Is there anyway i can still mount it in the stock tweet place. I'd really rather not cut a hole in my door panel. thanks

okay, I got my Mach 5 15's and i love them. But until i get the money to get the Sundown amp, I need to figure out which amp I need to use in the mean time. So I have two amps, obviously. I just need to know which amp would be better off for me. I am looking for accurate punchy bass more than I am loudness. So please help me out and let me know which is better. Thanks Guys ~MadroX

If a 4ga kit will be sufficient then I will just get that. I dont want to run extra wire if there is no need to. But yeah, what about the two diff kits.... the KLM and the Fleks kit? whats the diff and which is better?

Hmmm I will just stick to the 4ga then. I dont want to fudge anything up. They have 2 different 4ga amp kits. The Kolossus Fleks and the KLM kit. Which is better?

I will get the 1/0 kit because If I upgrade it will be in the summer and Im going to avoid working in the heat if I have to. the $60 or the $90 one?

Okay, Im not much of a box-builder. Nor do I know any of the concepts to box-building. I was wondering for my MAW-15's, Which I'm putting in a 4.0 ^3cu. ft. box sealed, When I get the box built does it need to be two independent chambers with 2 cu ft on each side or 1 big 4 cu ft. box. I wasn't sure what if that had an effect on the subs and/or their performance. Thanks in advance. ~MadroX

I just Ordered a pair Of Mach5 MAW-15's I hope they are as awesome as I have heard ppl say they are. All I need now is to save up and get the SAE-1000D. I'll be sure to post Build Logs as I get everything together. Cant Wait

I need to choose an amp for a pair of Maw-15's I was thinking the Sundown-1000D. Seems like it would work good being when I wire both subs into it. The Rms wattage would split and it would be powering the MAw-15's to their full RMS which I know isnt everything but ya know. Any Input. Thanks in Advance for all the help.

Im thinking on a budget... MY friend offered to sell me a Cunch 1000D amp for $100 slightly used. is that a good deal or would saving up and getting the sundown be a better bet.

Im sure this isnt the right section. But its been a few months since I have posted here due to my new job and everything. Anyway. I am buying two Mach 5 Maw-15's And I was wondering is it possible to fit a 4.0 cu ft box in my trunk. I am driving a 1996 Ford Taurus GL. I would get the 12's But the 350 power rating kinda makes me speculate. I currently have 2 Memphis 12 PR's and I hate them. But the rating on them is 250rms, So Im not sure if the maw-12's would be much better in terms of output. But hey what do I know. Also I dont have the recommended sealed enclosure size for the 12's. ARG please help. I want Mach 5's I am driving a '96 Taurus GL. whats my best bet?

It was rainy and wet and I wanted to hit an armadillo. But.... He won.

Okay I got my Damplifier. And I couldnt be any more pleased with it. So I did my Entire TRunk Lid. With more layers of Damp. Where there were rattles. I put it in the hole where the spare tire goes and around the floor of the trunk and a little on walls. So After Applying I still heard a rattle but it was from under the car. So I crawled under and found the rattle. It was on this square metal piece directly under where the spare tire goes. So I degreased it and Slapped 2 layers on that piece. It cut the rattle out quite a bit. So I cranked up the bass to listen for more rattles. I heard a rattle still under the car. Not loud but you can really tell its there. So I crawled under yet again and started scoping it out. I usually can just push on the piece and it will quit rattling. so I started feeling around under the car around where the spare tire is located. I can here it but I can't Stop it. I guess all in all Im just wondering. If I put more layers of Damp inside the trunk where the spare tire is will it eventually quit rattling? Sorry this was So long. I was just trying to give a detailed note of what all I did. Thanks in Advance. ~Madrox
