I would be willing to sell both ZCONs for $700 + shipping.

I think I found a good routine to follow for 2-3 months, it's focused mainly on arms but incorporates the rest of the body as well. I'm going to cut out running on lifting days and run twice a week, for a total of 3 days of lifting and 2 days of cardio. I'll start bringing my protein shakes with me to the gym too since it's a 20 minute drive from home. I already use a straight bar or dumbbells for most workouts, except I generally use a machine for tricep/lat pulldowns.

Still here. Help fund my Tahoe

I'm looking to change up my workout soon, going up 5 pounds per workout isn't happening. Any suggestions? I'm focusing mainly on upper body but want one leg day a week on top of running, too.

Nope, trying to scrounge up the money to buy a Tahoe or I would be keeping this.

This was going to be my suggestion. PPI makes nice budget amps.

If you're wanting to play that low, moving up to about 2.4 cubes sealed may benefit you. You would probably see more efficiency from 6 cubes ported, but you may start to lose some high and/or low end response. For what it's worth, I know someone who did a forward firing 4th order with 2 SA-12s in a Tahoe. He used 2 cubes for the sealed chamber and had around a 4:1 ratio. It played flat within 2dB from 25-60Hz and was doing very respectable numbers when measured with a TermLab.
-
the ratio business is also BS. what are you trying to achieve? The ratio business is actually not BS. Changing the ported size affects the response greatly, with higher ratios generally having a more peaky output and lower ratios generally having a wider, flatter response.

SAs are very 4th order bandpass friendly. It can't hurt to try if you already have the subs - and if you don't like the output you can always go with the two 15s. They do well with around 1 cube sealed and anywhere from 2-3 cubes ported each, and port area should be around half of your total cone area. This puts your sealed resonance around 45-47, and tuning the ported section to that number yields good results.

Lol, good luck. If this one sells I have a second one with the newer spiders and surround that I just reconed, I didn't want to sell them together because of the slight differences.
-
I also have a second one that I just reconed, once I solder the leads it will be good as new.

I'll get you a quote when I get on my laptop later today.

Thanks man. I'd be keeping this monster but I don't have any need for a 12 once I get an SUV

Too Low? or Too High? Tuning Frequency Questions
Tenacious replied to IceBroBass's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
Tuning all depends on your taste in music. I would probably drop down to at least 15-16 cubes just so I wouldn't be as worried about mechanical limits, although you'd probably be fine. I personally like being tuned around 30-32, but that's just me... unless you're listening to a lot of slowed songs/dubstep with really low bass, there's no reason to tune any lower than you already are. But wait a second.. how do you have 3 common port walls? It says your port is 36w, but the box is 44w... -
I see those bright RCAs

Irregular screws and screw caps to hide their identity. Window tint helps, too. Depending on your location, your listening habits near home may play a large role, too.

charging system problems
Tenacious replied to frogcase2002's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Sounds like your PCM regulator is going out. The same thing happened to my car (04 Taurus) and I had an internal regulator added to the alternator to bypass it. Sadly, there's no way to get rid of the check charging system notification that I know of. -
Should be nice and quiet.

I don't support anyone who supports the race to zero. Also I personally know two people who had issues with CT amps and customer service was terrible. Kevin Schlenker v2.
