Allstock, Thanks for the input! I have heard and liked Infinity Kappa's components but I can't justify the money. I'm sure there are better alternatives than the infinity's and the RE's but the price is right on the RE's I can get them for under 110.00 but I can't listen to them no dealer in my area. I find it hard to audition components and other speakers with out actually having them installed in your vehicle. Since every vehicle is different.

Pipes, Thanks for the input. Yeah I was kind of figuring I would need an amp. I need to find out the mounting depth of these as I can fit 6.5's in my door but these look pretty beefy on the back end.

I came across a good deal on a set of RE 6.5" components. Not the XXX model just the RE model. Looking for some input from guys using these/have used these in the past. Thinking about swapping these in place of my Kappa 6x9's since one of them is flaky. I'm not looking to compete or anything. This is in my daily driver and will be powered by my Alpine V-drive (60x4) I think it's more like 25-30 rms head unit unless these need there own amp.

I have ported cabinet plans that Chad gave me for both the 12" and 15" Atlas' they are for HT though around a 20Hz tune if you are interested PM me.

This needs to be featured in Ripley's Believe It Or Not. AA comes up with one of the best midrange drivers and then sits on it for 8 months. They could have sold a jazillion of these for the home audio market. It is not a woofer even though it has large Xmax, but it has some of the lowest distortion of any midrange tested. http://www.zaphaudio.com/6.5test/ Anybody know where these were made? I think you might be wrong. I was under the impression that Chad Kuypers still owns AA and has partnered up with Scott of Fi to manufacture AA's subs.

I hope they will become available, S4 coils work better for home applications. Unless one of the other lines is better suited for HT? Oh any idea on the time frame for the 6.5" poly's still need 2 more pair for my fronts.

I don't know when you can get the mids again but the XO parts you should be able to get from parts express or madisound all you need is the value of the components. Madisound also sells the xt25 tweeters both the larger flanged ones and the smaller one which I believe is the one you are looking for here is a Link You should also be able to find all the xo parts there too.

Any time table on the poly 6.5's??? I have a set and I'm waiting for enough to do MTM's across the front of my HT. I also have a buddy looking who wants them.
