E8 took a bad fall when shipped

i can testify that ups doesnt give a chit as well. I used to work in a shipping department for a gun warehouse and around christmas time they would just run over anything in the way with what ever they are driving. Had a few extremely high dollar Browning shot guns ran over by fork lifts that broke them into several pieces. nothing like getting a $5000 shotgun back in 4 or 5 pieces....

    PERFECT WATER

Looks like the perfect example of the amereican way if you ask me. Make all your money on your product off marketing, ride the cash cow till it shoots you in the foot, file bankruptcy and run for the hills with the cash you made and vanish....

    Head Unit Suggestions

i agree there Sean, the 9887 is a good little unit for the planned use, and fits the budget. www.newegg.com has em for $299. mine came to $309 with shipping. Good luck on your quest

    Switching Shop Software

in all honesty, rather than taking all that time to get everyone back in, it would be alot easier on the 2 of you to just have people reregister that way your time could be spent more effectively on getting things where you want them with the new layout and opperations rather than have things lagging behind due to an inferior database transfer procedure. the people that are truely dedicated to SSA that will buy from the store on a regular basis wont bitch about havign to spend 30 seconds to fill all thier information back in. my 2 cents anyway

  12. its not uncommon for that problem to happen with a H/O alternator due to the increased diode pack that is in the alternator on most of them. This is also the same reason most alternator testers cant accurately test a H/O alt...

    METAL

pertinant things to know b4 your last question can be answered. 1) Budget 2) Size limitations (i.e. can a 10" fit in the desired location, or a 8" or will you be subjected to having to stick to a driver a around the 6.5" area" 3) max mounting depth in the location you intend to put the midbass driver

    7" Midbass Recommendations

been digging in on the system some and have discovered the original plans of the sls 8" isnt going to work just due to the sheer diameter. Need some recomendations on a badass 7" midbass driver to be mounted IB in the front doors with a max depth of 4". These will be running active with Seas W12CY-001 4.5's and Seas 27TFFNC/G tweets mounted in kick pods. looking in the area of 200-250 per driver to be the high end. Front stage is to be powered off 2 Sundown 100.4's to allow for flexibility of more power to the 7's by bridging the one running them for more output if needed. Thanks in Advance

    sounddeadening front doors

i'd show ya pics of my work in progress on the fiberglass plugs, but the camera be broken. its a trick that i learned from another installer bud of mine years ago then was recently reminded of it. works slick as chit

    sounddeadening front doors

or another option if your decent with fiberglass, tape off the hole so that you are following the contours of the hole, lay down some glassmat and resin it in several layers. trim it so that the outside of the plug is slightly larger than the hole, get some adhesive backed thin weather stripping, stick it to the back of the plug around the edges and screw the plug in place. best way to do that is to deaden up to the holes you built the plug for, trim it so its flush around the opening, and reinstall the plug then deaden the plug as well. you will have a deadened removable plug so that you can still have full acess to window regulators and motors down the road so that you can still replace parts w/o having a ton of cutting to do to get back into your door if a motor or lock solenoid should ever go out....

    Kerfed Box

as i am sure Strat will tell you if he sees this, there are some output benefits that come out when rounding sections of the enclosure
