I had an accident with my sx15 with dual 2's. And want a price quote for a recone. I'm not sure why but in my particular install the sx15 was .5 dbs louder than a FI Audio Bl15 with p chamfer, dual 2's, daily, and custom coils. So what I am wondering is if I buy the recones from you all can I be sure that it will still be as loud as the original SX or louder? If so how much for the recones and how long will it take to receive them? Thanks in advance for any help.

By the end of next week I will test the sx 15 with dual 2's, and the Bl 15 with dual 2s, and p chamfer. I will test them both in a 3ft3 enclosure tuned around 49hz. Which do you all think will be the Louder sub? I'm not going to post the results, out of respect for the two companies.

Can a BL 15 handle 1000 watts rms on music for 10 to 15 min at a time with just p chamfer, Daily?? I need to know asap so I can place my order. In a 3ft3 enclosure tuned to 48hz.

I'm only going to be running around 700 - 1100 watts rms to the sub when playing music. Probally no more than 10 min sessions. And the sub will probally move no more than 3/8 of an inch in excursion each way. Will I have any problems with this small amonunt of excursion?

Can a BL 15 with flatwind coil, and p. chamfer take 1000 watts or so rms for an hour or so at a time, and 1700 watts rms for spl burps? Or does the sub need the cooling option? In 3 ft3 enclosure tuned to 48hz.

I figured out how to order from the website. Now I just need the tech advice so I will know how to order them. This is my email I sent you it contains everything. I currently am running two RE sx 15's with dual 4ohm coils, in a 6ft3 box, with 134 inch port, tuned to 50hz. My spl peaks at 59hz, and at this frequency my subs impedences are 3.8 ohms. I am running them off of two RF type 7's 1500 to 1700 watts rms per sub. I am looking for atleast 1 but prefer a 2 db increase in spl. So I want either two BTL 15's or two BL 15's with dual 2ohm coils. I think with my amps and box size the BL's will be the best choice. What do you think? I need to keep each subs impedance close to 2 ohms at 59hz, so would 2 or 3 spiders be better? My sx 15's are only excursing about 3/8 inch at my peak frequency max, so could I run the spl optimized coils without rubbing issues on the BL's? Lastly, I think I should go with the non vented pole and chamfer, do you think this is best? How much would the subs cost? Please respond asap, I have the money now and i am needing the subs soon.
