im not sure yet but i wanna run somewhere in the range of atleast 3000 watts... but i havent really decided one what subs/amp i want yet... just want to get the electrical all settled first, or most of it anyways

well at somepoint once i can scrape up some money i plan on running ~3500 watts, and i just wanted to get my electrical all setup before i actually buy the new subs and amp, i already have a EA 200a alt in, as well as 2/3 Big 3 (i didnt do the chassis to engine block yet, but it will get done soon) So thats why im asking this question. Because i wasnt sure if just one run of 1/0 would be sufficent enough, or if i would need two, and wasnt quite sure how to do it anyways... Ok so would i have the same results if it went how your saying which i think is like this (+)front battery ------------------------- (+)back battery------------ (+)on amp ground <---------(-) no wire between the neg. (-)back battery------------ (-)on amp or would i have to keep the ground up front but then go from the - on amp to ground? If someone could draw me a little something in pant it would be very helpful! thanks for your help thus far

Hey ok i have a question about multliple runs of wire from a battery in front to batter in rear to amp. Would i just go from + on batery in front to + on battery in back, and - from battery in front to - in battery in back the + from battery in back to + in amp, and - on battery in back to - on amp. Then ground the neg at front. Heres a pic of what i mean (the boxs on the + wire are fuses) Also say i wanted to do two runs of 1/0 would i do 2 + and 2 negatives between the batterys and then just do 1 run of 1/0 to the amp? Thanks for the help! hope i made a little bit of sense, please let me know whatever i did wrong im open to suggestions!

well i think i fixed it but its still pretty strange because i switched the positive and negative speaker wires on the amp and it seemed to do the trick even though before it made sense that they were in the right spot but now its seems to be working

well my dmm only have for the Vac category, 600,200. My Vdc has 200m,2000m,20,200,600

I had it set to Vac 200

I have 2 2ohm dvc ssds powered by a kicker zx1500.1, ive checked the wiring and the coils and there all fine. Once i start turning it up the green led goes off it doesnt turn red (im pretty sure if it turns red its going into protect) coudl this be a ground or a power wire issue

Hey i use to have 2 (dual 2)12" kicker cvrs running off of a zx750.1 now i have 2 (dual 2)12" FI ssds running of a zx1500.1 and my cvrs are louder then my ssds, the ssds are in a 4 cube ported box tuned to 32hz. My electrical is a 200a EA alt, Yellowtop under the hood. Ive got 10guage speaker wire, 1/0 power/ground wire. When i try to set the gains using the gain setting tutorial i dont get any voltage reading from my dmm so i try and set it by ear and the subs just stop playing when the subs arent moving that much. Im not sure whats going on. Im almost positive i hooked the subs up to read a 2ohm load i remember goin gfrom the positive from amp to positive to sub to positive to the other sub (same thing with negative) then doing the positive to negative on one sub then i did it to the other. I have no idea whats going on My amp is a little warm could that be the reason? If so how do i fix it? I really want this system working. If you need pics of anything ill be glad to take em!

Just stopping by to say hello its my first post over here and im making it because i have two packages coming to my door in 2 days Its two 12" SSDs cant wait to get them installed even though i think im underpowering them a bit (running em off of a zx1500.1) They should destroy my 2 12" CVR! even though im disappointed that my original shipping date got moved back from today to the 15th im still pleased with FI cause i know they make em well thats all the talking im doing for now till next time
