Looking for someone close to Charlotte NC that has a term lab meter that will be willing to meter my ride.

Its coming along slowly, box still needs finished. Running on just passenger speaker and tweet for at least a month now. Just haven't had the time to get into the driver door yet. I'm happy so far but always want more lol. Will have to get up with ya soon for a demo.

What are the specs on the box if you don't mind me asking? Thats impressive for just a single 10 trunk setup. My SSA zcon 12 wont even flex my civic that much lol.

I know the Term-LAB is by all means the best to use but is also really expensive. Are there any other meters out there that are good and cheaper?

Yeah I was thinking that would be my best bet. I'll have to ask around, never been to any meets but its something I'd enjoy.

Its a daily setup and I agree on just making it sound good to me. Only reason I want to meter it is for benchmark purposes. I know eventually I will want something louder and want to see the difference in numbers if ya know what I mean.

Metering it as in how loud it is.

I had a 15" SSD from them back in the day, I was happy as can be with it. Glad your liking the BL's, I would definitely consider them if I decide to change up equipment.

With the increasing demand for the amazing pioneer deh-80prs and the availability dropping and price on the rise I figured I better get one while I can. Should be a nice compliment to my system. Feel like its only a matter of time before this head unit becomes nearly impossible to get your hands on.

Decided to keep the Image Dynamics and probably gonna run them active. I may end up playing with some different speakers in the future but I feel like I will be more than happy with these for now. Any recommendations on some starting crossover points and slopes? Should I start a new topic for this?

I thought about getting some PWX 6.5" CRESCENDO PRO AUDIO MID RANGE but read some reviews about pro drivers being more loud than sound quality oriented. I can certainly return the ctx65s if there are much better options for my money.

Well I read decent reviews on them, I doubt there bad speakers. Probably could have got something better for my money but these are my first set of aftermarket speakers. Didn't want to go all out at first. Might run them passive at first and experience the learning curve before going active right off the bat. What would you have recommended?

I can make a list of new stuff now in addition to the head unit. Just put the order in for a pioneer gm-d8604 for my front stage amp, image dynamics ctx-65cs component speakers for up front, xs power d3400 for in the rear to make my sub amp happy. Going to be like christmas here for me and a lot of work to install everything the way I want. Cant wait to actually have a quality system in the civic, so excited!

How much port area would you reccomend for a 12" zcon in 3 cubes @ 30hz? Will be powered by a saz2500d.

No luck with this, i installed a newer version of winisd and now it wont accept the zcon parameters.

If the pre amp(headunit power) is affected by the network mode also, then the front speakers would become highs and rear speakers as mids? I know thats how it works if your using the rca pre outs and amps.

Thanks guys, a couple youtube videos and your explanations and I was able to wrap my head around it. My x9500bhs was graphic and so is the 80prs so I should be familiar with adjusting it.

Think i need to upgrade to pro from beta for that info.

So why would one want to change the Q of certain band using a parametric eq verse just cutting or boosting the frequency with a standard graphic eq? Whats the advantages or disadvantages of both?
