I completed a t-line for them about a week ago, just for fun. Was quite impressed with how loud they got. had them running off of about 300 rms total. So fun to watch these little fellers move, lol. I'll be doing an in home build soon w/ my dad. I just picked up a bash 300 amp for him off of Partsexpress, it's on sale $99, should work well power wise. I'm not sure if i want to take some pvc & try & t-line them or just seal them off. Still open to any recommendations & once the build starts, I'll take some pictures for you guys.

Did Kyle say if the Ultra's were that different from the older originals. Just wondering what he told you about the subs, cuz i've read a lot of different things.

I didn't see the game other than the highlight, was at my grandparents 50th anniversary party, but I will not argue one bit that there were a ton of missed calls. I think sports are too fast for todays refs, I also know that I'm tired of watching cleveland's shotty defense. Honestly though, the dessert tray, did they bring one by at the end of the game for you? Cuz normally those things are loaded w/ sweets & goodies!

Awesome seats & cool picks. the field goal was clearly good What was the dessert tray like?

Ha, forgot to mention what they were, well, I'll leave it at a guess. It shouldn't take long, but I'll see if anyone can guess. no that's not it flakko

Scott, I have to comment on how you knew what sub I was talking about right off the bat. I'm quite stunned you knew it was my sub by my bleak description. So yeah, good memory! ha

Thanks for the update sir, can't wait to get it!! No problem at all about the delay, just glad we found it! nate

Just wondering what you found out about the sub. thanks nate

What other methods are there? Haven't heard of many in my young couple years so far. Thanks for any more info! To the OP, I don't recommend having a response of "no" to the first response you get, he is most likely right that you have your gains set incorrectly. Good luck w/ finding a solution, ton of knowledge on this site.

You could take a piece of tin foil & spray a little bit of WD40 on it, then rub that on the rusted spot. Trick my boss taught me, he works on old motorcycles a lot. If there are any problems with this, please let me know, but it has worked in the past for me.

lanzar opti
thedukey42 replied to mcbuggin's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have the opti 6000D, had it benched for me & it put out 3500 rms @ 4 ohms. Was benched on 2 yellow tops, 1 up front & 1 in back. Did very well & was efficient. Edit: After rise during the bench, it did the 3500 rms @ 5.1 ohms I didn't have the 2 ohm & 1 ohm testings done because we had no subs that could take the power! I am currently using it in my car w/ a 70 amp alternator, stock front battery & Kinetik 2400 in the trunk, I have a constant 14.5V reading at normal listening levels, when I turn it up I have a 13.5V reading, so for me that is not a bad dip at all, but I am not sure what a bad voltage drop is. I assume it's 12.5 or below. Hope that helps! -
2 mj 18's . Now with pictures of box build
thedukey42 replied to 82cutty's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I would but don't have a camcorder. I could borrow one...how do i go about posting a vid ? Same way as you do pictures ? Photobucket ? Use the video host provided by ssa!!! Great box man & well done on the carpet, def. try & get a video loaded on to ssa's video site! congrats here's the link in case you feel lazy, lol : http://www.teamssaudio.com/video/ -
Port your TC3k & give it 2K rms. Then after that, think about switching subs, should keep solid sq & plenty of output! let me know if you want help w/ box plans, I don't know how good you are w/ them, so if you're sweet, I meant no offense, just tryin to be helpful.
