  1. I'd love to get my hands on one of those 21 inchers.

I'm not that familiar with the line, do you think I'd be okay with ~3k rms daily on the 21? If so I might need to start saving :)

[Wife opens trunk for groceries and SUPRISE! lol]

I think that I would be ok putting that much power on it. I won't recommend that to anybody just because I am a mean warranty person, but if you can control the volume knob, 3k will be just fine :)

  2. when do we get the specs on this mostly the box sizes ? Since I don't know that much abought your product then how much can one of these take daily and for a burp? one last question for you would this sub fall under the same class as 2 15's for usaci comps.

    Thanks mcbuggin

All of that data will be posted tomorrow!

They are rated at 1500 RMS, I know for burps the most we've tested them at is 5000 a driver and they work excellant with that kind of power.

One 21" is exactly the same cone area as 2 15's :)

    Thanks,

    Nick

I thought that it was the same as 2 15's this might be an option for the bug if I have enuf air space for the box

think 7-10 cubes for the box

  3. 1) do I have to connect the 2 inputs like in the diagram, or can I just use one ?

    2) I am assuming the 2 speaker outputs are in parallel, so connecting a 2 ohm load to each set will result in a 1 ohm load to the amp .... ??

1 - when you say inputs, you mean rca inputs, correct? if so, then one is all that is really needed.

    2 - correct again

    any more questions? :)

  4. You are really choking that 40.1 out with only 1 extra battery. The extra optimas are definitely a good start. If you are only going to run 1 amp, I would suggest at least 2 extra Group 31 Yellow Tops. 40.1's usually dont like anything below .5 ohm, so thats why you are going into protect. What subs are you running? You need to get up in the mid 50's to be somewhat competitive at the regional level. Nothing 4 40.1's and 8-12 batteries won't fix :)
