Went to AudioThunder in Niagra Falls new york with some small changes to the vehicle. Terrible drive up due to conditions outside but well worth it! Eclipse is doing 154's a lot more often now that I strengthened somethings in the rear hatch and removed the spoiler that was leaking some air. 2nd in the preliminary (saturday) 1st place in the finals for bass race (sunday) Should get a 55+ out of it charged. It was great meeting you guys hopefully I will have the cash soon to start my second build. Should still be along the lines of 8 15's or 8 18's in a no wall application depending on how much room I will be working with. Right now I am going to throw 2 tc3000 (axis) 12's on two saz3000D's in my work car so my girlfriend sam can start competing in bass race with me this year. I let her try a few runs in my car and she is without a doubt very skilled at it. Plus it is going to be pretty hilarious to see a bunch of guys get their ass beat in bass race by a chick! hahahahaha Jake I will let you know when i am going to be ordering the amps

The fact that it was indoors made it well worth it everyones cars were knocking stuff down from inside the building (you can see the camera go on the floor a lot because all this white stuff was falling to the ground during runs)

Small improvement in SPL today went up 1hz 154 on 44hz

Thought I would try a few burps today Legal scores right now are 153.6 on 43hz 144 on 25hz still taken it easy on the volume knob a little I will keep updating in the future

thankyou something really kind of wierd happened I took my passenger side door panel off to check one of my tweeters to make sure it still worked and decided to burp the car with the door panel off. I gained a full db with the door panel off???? wtf anyone think i should try taking the driver side door panel off too?

Alright guys. you have all seen the videos.... The LMS 18s laughed at two memphis 4kws (8000 watts rms) Can they handle 4 saz3000Ds with 2 strapped on each one at 1 ohm? still waiting on the new ones from tc sounds and paying off two more SAZ3000Ds...

I will be buying a clamp soon off ebay. By the time i got to the show both woofers did even out and I was able to turn them up a lot more. I am curious to see what kind of power I am getting out of all four of them also. As far as voltage drop is concerned, with the car running at idle, I did not see anything below 12.4, sat at 12.5 and 12.6 the entire time (this was with three different notes of a song playing for over two minutes in my garage. Most eclipses have pause Unless you are running a new low end unit, all the old style 2 knob ones have pause. Its button 3 mine does on button three but its only on regular cd's. mp3 cd's and memory stick do not have the pause option and thats the only kind of media that would last 30 seconds at 150s for me.

i own an eclipse thats why its aux in gets used for my pioneer dehp880prs that I have to hold in my hand during my runs. whats nice about the pioneers for bass race is they have excellent remotes, pause options, and some models are harder to skip then others. my eclipse has survived the beating I put it through but some things have broke on it. the face of it flapped in and out so much when i had the box at 25hz that i have to help the radios motorized face open now. it skips like a mofo too so it wasn't worth the aggrivation of trying to use that radio alone

As soon as maxcup starts though I am looking to team up with someone who can go to all the shows with me that is solid in all classes of bass race. all classes that would usually fill up that is. 29 39 and 49 haha if they open up a 59 class ill try to get myself up there for ya sounds good, don't think any 59 classers would be hauling their rides to every maxcup show though although i can't believe how far bob perillo used to travel for shows. the guy is from maine?!

yes I am that was my mistake. i saw something about a blazer and it threw me off because martin has a blazer that he bought off rourke and has been using it for bass race. my mistake man i knew something didnt seem to make sense when i saw that you were a sundown rep because I knew he ran XXX amps
