    Welcome to the IHoP

: sigh : I was driving from winter park FLa to MN... in a weekend. as in left friday night 9:30 had to be at work at 7:00 on monday. The whole drive was great.. Untill we went through Kansas. We had to get of the big cross state highway, we could not get back on, there was a road black and I was in a turck to big to squeeze through. No one helped us at all. I ended up going north, and getting the wrong directions, as another major highway was shut down and had no where to go. We got sent west instead of east. The total detour pluss me going the wrong way and not finding a place to turn around cost us on the edge of 5-6 hours or more. Then while leaving 3 of the 4 gass stations were closed. We were near empty, We had to pay to get on the highway while we were entering and paid to get back on just to leave the state. I hate it there. Also, they don't seam to have de ice windsheild wash.... none. It was frigid there too.. but no one even carried the stuff. so I had an iced over windsheild with what ever crap they salt the roads with. Had to pull over every 20 miles to wash the windsheild while only going like 30. there is more, but it's too painfull ATM to recall.

I haven't settled on any drivers yet. This stared as a sub thread, but I got fed up and now I want an all out SQ system pretty much. I'm asking for the knowledge of the board to help me spend my money as wise as possible. m5 as usual has been tolerating and helping me for the past few pages.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Don't think I have . Went fishing with a friend the other day in his new allison xb-21 pro . Good lord that thing is fast Hit any rough water with it? Probably not as rough as you see up there, but it was pretty rough for here. The wind was blowing 35-40mph causing 2-3 foot chop in the main channel . It handled it well. We were able to run 65 through it Hmm. Be sort of sweet to have one of those "Oh look, more of them sparkly boats..." <=== Overheard at the Boat Show a few months back, had me in tears for a good five minutes Although completely cheesy, I love metal flake bass boats. Nothing really looks better on one. I was just saying as I passed a metal flake green caprice or something, and told my room mate how it would only look good on a bass boat.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I had a liquer last night called Amber. It was a maple flavored scotch liquer. Amazing. Sweet as sin, normaly not my thing, but this was great. It was at the bottom of a white russian. It was a house drink at the cosmos room. I went there for drinks after eating at the 7 sushi ultra lounge, or what ever it's called all you can eat miso night. I really liked 7's sushi. It was not AMAZING by any means, but it was verry good. Especialy for when you consider MN is not near any ocean, and they had some high quality sushi that was endless for 30 dollars. They limit what they bring to yrou table each time they come, but it was nice and slow that night so the server was on point the whole time. Pretty damn nice. Presentation was beautiful, and the chef made some nice creations. The nigiri was smaller than I'm used to and had less sashimi on top, but again.. all you can eat.. thank you, yes please. They style was a little "veags". It could use some more art. I was sitting with my friend in a area where it was couches not chairs and for us it was perfect to relax look out at the rain and game works. I will go again definately as sushi is something I can't do at home and 30 dollars is a drop in the bucket compaired to most places even on 1/2 price night.

I can make juat about any enclosure work. I would say I could fit in a .5-.75 cube enclosure maybe for the mids, well I know I can. Anything larger... I would have to think "outside the box" and kicks would get tricky. I took out some cottage cheese container tops and placed them in different areas in space and worked around on the driver side for about 30 min looking and measuring. I can place anywhere. The kick makes me nervous due to MN snow and slush. I guess the same could be said about the midbass door though. don't want that to get rained on! I think the reason I'm asking for drivers now it to get sizes so I know what I have to do. With so many options it's hard to make up my mind of where and what. I'm not sure but I would say that I have so many measurements in my head ATM and none on them of real value, with kicks I could get the mid and tweet pointed right up to me and to the side, but underdash.... I would have to work that one out for a while and I could do it. Just take some real work. Probably a fair amount of glassing to make it look right. I keep going back to kicks but the E brake is in direct line to me and I'm not really sure if I would be able to have the e brake usable. I can just saw that off anyway though right? The doors.... well I cannot figure out how to pull them off... at all. I need to dedicate an evening to figuring that out, but I'm can fit just about any depth into it, it's just a mater of working it in. I would really like that to be IB, Making an enclosure in a dooor wouldn't be my idea of a dream date, but with glass and MDF anything is possible.
