    Diet Pills

I would also say this. Buying a great multivitamin, will everytime be more beneficial in loosing fat than any fat blocker. So if you aren't already taking the highest quality vitamin & mineral suplement you can (not snake oil type vitamins mind you) you will be wasting money throwing it at some fat pill. I voted saz 7000... why because it would strike fear into the hearts of lesser amps and make them blow coils just by feeling the power it has. my .02

IS this HT or music? Also is this just for a dorm or will you want to take it with you, as in do you want to spend some bucks and make it a system for life?

    New and First HT Setup

Not in my opinion Power is actually pretty irrelevant, in the grand scheme of things...because at home, you can always scale up the speakers to fit lower-powered amplifiers I wasn't even thinking about upgradeability, but you make a good point. Personally, I think that the current standards of high-definition are as good as I'm ever going to want (and will probably be years before I get to that standard anyway), but some always need to have the latest and greatest. you got me. Not ALL home audio. Some 2 channel needs barely any power. I would say that for HT though more power is usualy hyelpful. Most speakers are not really efficient and in my experience, which is limited, having more power ready to go usualy helps. You have dealt with some amazing speaks Jim that are amazingly efficient, but I would say most people won't deal with those. I may make no sence but it seams when I have more power to speakers, maybe even more than they recomend... I am given better response from the speakers, even when played at lower levels. I have no science to base this on but my internal amp on the integra receiver left out some depth that a more powerfull amp I demoed could bring forth. I was generalizing though!

    New and First HT Setup

I agree only to the degree that you will really want to make sure you level it to the room. I actualy run my rears "hot". I do not have matching speakers ATM though I have towers center and bookshelfs in the rear. The little guys don't produce like the towers do, not that they should but.. anyway. If you have either an auto correction or can manualy adjust you should be fine.

I have never ever had health issues before untill I started this job. If I didn't like the benefits so much I would get out. This is my first ever sinus related stuffyness and it feels like my head is going to blow up.

    Propolusion Choice of the future

True, but just because we can, does it mean we should? I guess it depends on the technology, I'd be all for more offshore wind farms that some people are opposed to, but drilling in national wildlife refuges is a little meh... The crisis is that the old business model is basically holding us hostage to a corporate system that's going to keep charging and charging us. If large amounts of people broke off from that, we'd have some very interesting results... This isn't related to vehicles per say, but the cost of energy in general is making a lot of renewables suddenly very affordable. The last time I was at my folks' place, we spec'ed out a recirculating solar hot water system, at current propane rates ($3.50/gal) it'd pay for itself in five years. And that's only going to get better. I would say yes we should. I think the earth should be a top priority but to not take advantage of the fuel we could use makes no sense. This wind and solar idea are pretty good no doubt. I would do it even if I would only break even as it would make me more independent. Wind is a real real hard to use source, only in the US would it work well as we don't populate much of our nation, and have large open spaces..... that said I'm still for nuclear. Clean and efficient, and requires less operational energy. It self sustains. With Gas I feel the same way. It's the least of the evils we have, the human race will run around like confused chickens with the self created crisis. I don't expect what works here to work in the rest of the world, just as I don't expect what they have to work here. I think it's insane to not make use of something as efficient as crude. The one point I feel in agreement with you is that tapping in wildlife reserves is sketchy at best, but it would probably cost less to move every plant animal and rock out of the way and create an indestructable bubble around the area, than to switch to another fuel mach schnell before the tech catches up with the desire. I'm all for nuclear power if we did what they do in France and run reactors that convert the waste into plutonium and use that for fuel too...we're burying all that waste that could be re-used, with absolutely no way of knowing how that waste is going to affect people potentially thousands of years in the future. Jim I like you more and more every day. No matter what they say I think you're an allright kinda guy! I said this in one of the HT forums I'm on, and I feel really strong about it. Be it religion or enviromental, the politicing agendas in the US have got out of hand, and it's now about selling an issue to the people and not addressing real issues. I hate when people try to rally people around something with no imperical data because they would rather get their way than make progress.

I have to say for the record so far... I am amazingly happy with Rick at RAAM mat. He gave me a call with some suggestions and to let me know some things. Also gave some great advice. And all because he just wanted to make sure my order was right and let me know it might be sent out 1 day later than when I ordered as he's waiting on a shipment that was suposed to be in already. If the product is half as good as that kind of service, personal service mind you, I will be extatic.

    Welcome to the IHoP

What's got you down bro? I've missed homework assignments here and there...this was the first semester in about two years where I've gone back to a regular homework and test kind of schedule, instead of just three exams a year kind of classes. So I let some things slip through the cracks. And I've missed two quizzes in another class, going to talk with the prof to see if I can pull out a C or if I'm going to have to use a withdrawal credit... I got a 3.7 last semester. This one I'll be lucky for a 2 I'm sory to hear that Jim. I hope you can work it out. My brother, well best friend, is going for his MD and PHD and he had to withdraw 2 times I think. Sometimes school can throw you for a hard loop. I already know your a smart guy, you'll get it str8ened out.
