  1. Personally I think running at .5ohm daily is way too low and dangerous... why not gettin somethin like a sundown saz3000d on each one and put them @ 1ohm? And why 3? theres really not that much of a noticeable difference from 2... Have you ever heard the 3db rule? To gain an extra 3db you either double your power or double the cone area.... which in your case you would notice a difference if you ran 4 instead of 3... 3 will be a waste of space.. if you want more than 2 and you can fit it do 4

  2. Brian has 4 BTL 15's and 4 IA 40.1's on each walled, and I'm not sure if its a daily setup but it's loud as hell and they can deffinately take the power...You would most definately want to stick with 2 15's fully loaded.... i used to have to 12's fully loaded in my daily truck in a cut-through running off 3500rms a piece and it handle just fine and was loud as hell...this is what it used to look like

Right now im doing 2 new 08 15" BTL's fully loaded in the cut-through and 2 hifonics XXV Sampsons on each one... they will be getting roughly 4500@ 2ohms

  3. here Nick, i'll C and P for you

". On the BL and BTL series of subs there is a 3-5 business day build time. Once we have received payment and the building process begins you will be emailed a tracking number via UPS (Quantum View). It Will say something to the extent of "Billing information received". This means that a tracking number has been assigned to your order, but it has not left the facility left. Please note that the delivery date noted in the email is assumed for same day pick up and is not correct. This will be updated once UPS picks it up and the tracking information will change to "In transit" with the correct estimated delivery date.

Nice. No waiters comp, but atleast a sincere "sorry" for throwing 5 bills to FI on May 5th, i could of just kept it in my bank and made money on the intrest and waited til this was all figured out. Maybe i should pray to have them here by the 26th? maybe that will work...

3-5 business days normally, however this is different, here is why.

Keep this in mind. This is a completely new woofer, motor and everything. With this first run we have to be extra careful to make sure all of the motors are CNC'd and everything is assembled properly. The last thing we want is to have any sort of in field failures. The first shipment went out yesterday, if yours was not in that UPS pickup then sorry, we can't build that amount of woofers from the ground up in a few days, especially when we have to machine all new jigs for assembling the motors, and adjust all of the packaging materials from what the previous BTL was as well.

We'll gladly send you a T shirt out with your order, sorry for the delay. Let me know what size you wear.

"joseph M" if all your whinning and complaining makes the guys at Fi rush, and the subs I ordered aren't built correctly I'll be taking all my rage out on you, for being such a cry baby.... Fi's product are supposed to be 2 words "Infinately Amazing"... Fi- take your time guys don't rush

  4. ^^^ exactly dude... take a chill, it's not like your needing them to go to World Finals/Nationals or something... either way your going to have to chill because now you are going to have to wait an extra 3-5 days for the subs to get to you, depending on where you are located :)

  5. Dude why should you get some sort of compensation for waiting? I have to wait as long as you do, and im not complaining.... Quit trying to get somethin free out of it, because you won't get nothing

  6. The first 45 or so orders for the BTLs from last week took a little longer than the normal 3-5 business days. All were finished up as of today and will be packed and shipped tomorrow. The tracker will show the rescheduled delivery date based off of the actual pick up date late late tomorrow night.

    Thanks,

    Scott

So does that mean my 15's will be shipped out by tomorrow? fing05.gif or at least one of them?

  7. Well anyone who knows Scotts number will not post it publicly in a thread for everyone to see... I know it but it wouldn't be right of me to give it out....However I would just email Nick@ficaraudio.com and wait till he replies...On another hand after any of them see this thread I'm sure they will contact you A.S.A.P.

    Sorry bud

  8. Well yesterday I order me a new BTL 15 to try out and when I ordered and the payment cleared... I usualy recieve an email confirmation from Fi and an email from UPS regarding my order and assigning me a tracking number, but this time I didn't receive nothing. If Scott or Nick might know whats up please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Travis

  9. Yeah I had almost all types of Hifonics amps and that brutus bxi2406 is not pushing no where near 2400rms @ 1ohm when I benched it i was getting roughly 2000rms @ 1ohm and 14.5volts... i would definately recomend looking into something else.... if you can find an old hifonics colossus XX II those actually put out 3412rms @ 2ohms and 14.5volts.. but definatley add another battery in the trunk and do the "Big 3" in at least 1/0awg... and do not, i repeat DO NOT! run that BTL in a sealed enclosure

  10. I would definately recomend upgrading your alternator/battery/"BIg 3"/ Multiple batteries in the rear.. and lots of 1/0 awg wire

what if i just got the fi q? i have a w6 12 already, but i want something louder but dont wanna spend a ton getting all that new chit. it doesnt mean that much to me, but i definately want it louder

Well no matter what you go with you should still upgrade your "Big 3" and get a better starting battery under the hood... Voltage drops will hurt you and your system so why not spend the extra cash$$ and be on the safe side so you only need to upgrade your vital electrical parts once

  11. I'm wanting to purchase 2 saz-3000D's and I had a few questions about them... My first question was how do I order some? And the pricing of them? I live in colorado and I have no dealers of Sundown, so I'm pretty sure I would have to buy over the internet

  12. Nick.. you need to chill bro! If I wanted a BTL soo bad I would be calling Scott and talking to him and not post crap on a forum....On a greater note, today I had a sound comp, and I took 2nd out 8 in my class... I hit a 149.3 all sealed up on a TL... and my box wasn't even designed for an SPL setup... But I'm currently thinking I'm going to get some new BTL 12's with 2 RF T4000's just to play with them on my TL to see what kind of numbers I can pull:D this will be fun!

I'm plenty chilled, i'm still trying to figure you out.

One minute you love the subs...next you hate them...lol.

I sent you an email, Nick.. it explains most of my confusions....however theres an important question in that email I sent you so when you get a chance take a look at it... Oh and by the way I'm buying a BTL 15 fully loaded tomorrow

  13. One problem I see with all the crazy designs is that Fi does not post the t/s parameters for the subs with different options, so if you do not have the standard sub listed, Pete is using t/s parameters that may not be exactly right.

Not saying he does not do some cool looking designs. . .just curious how he can be sure the designs are right for these subs.

By the way, Brian! Pete and Scott stay in-touch with eachother because Pete gets a lot of Scott's customers wanting designs... Pete has all T/S Param's from Scott for any sub any model and any option(s)
