It's all box dependent. The BL's are the choice for you though. Most rap peaks in the 40-50Hz region, so there's no reason to tune that low really.

You might want to read the article on setting gains and try to understand clipping. You may be simply over powering your sub with a good clean signal, but you may be pushing your amplifier into clipping which is dangerous for all of your equipment. You'll probably be satisfied with any of the Fi woofers in a ported box.

If I had to guess I'd say $115-150.
