Bp Power: just finished adding a new option for the SSD and Q series subs. This new option adds a machined aluminum compression plug to the pole which helps channel all of the air under the dustcap around the coil for better cooling. To aid with this increased airflow we also add 6 axial cooling channels in the top plate. Along with increased thermal capacity comes the addition of an extra spider and a changed spider pack for a little extra mechanical ability. All of these new features increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application. Its just another way of tuning and tailoring your subs to your exact needs. like brian said the btl will handle that power nicer, pushing 2400 to a bl is a little pushy
-
The BL line is pretty much a lower power alternative to a BTL or a higher power alternative to the Q series of woofers. This is more of a street jamming type woofer that

muddybass replied to Brian10962001's topic in General Audio
why use optima's as they are not deisnged for car audio only for those extra cranking amps, if you were to put in a second battery id go with kinetik -
those type-r's having trouble picking up them lows? as it sounds like it...
-
sounds like clipping to me
-
the q will be a great sub for you, now sealed itll sound better but lose a little output vice versa with ported
-
the bl puts out alot of output but if you want that true kick in the ass and have the right power for it id suggest a btl
