Yeah actually i noticed tonight the installation guide says to take the sub output from the back of the deck,and plug it in the brain into the " To monitor unit " plug in. I have a 06 xxx re audio 12 hooked up to a visonik v900hc...suppose to do 3200 @ 1 ohm bridged...hooked up to a kenwood kvt-911 dvd.... The only sound i can get out of my sub is when i hook the rcas up to the brain under the front pre-out...Does nothing when i hook it to the rear,and surges when i hook it up to the non fade output....But when i hook it up to the sub outputs to the back of the monitor it slams the sub and sounds right but you cannot control the sound....the volume only controls the trebble....the only wway to turn the bass from hitting is to unplug the rcas....and when its hooked up to the front preout it sounds decent but only when u turn the volume up all the way,its doesnt even get loud till full like 33/35 on the volume...I dont know what the deal is....any ideas???

Well my bad dude, its my fault for assuming you did that. I'd love to have one for free. Even if it was burnt up. How much would you like for it? Its cool, I should have mentioned that on the first post. I am going to be contacting us amps sometime this week to get an actual price quote. Its probably not worth my time , but i got it for free so its worth a shot. As far as selling it i dont know what it could be worth , I guess best offer would take it ((gotta be worth the effort of boxing this bitch up and taking it to the post office ))

I did not fudge up the amp it was in a guys car i worked with ...he gave it to me , because i said i wanted it when i heard it was a U.S. Amps. I was thinking that I might be able to get it fixed and power a stroker with it . But i guess i cant ... big deal .. you want it you can have it .

So its not worth trying to repair? Or just to costly? I was hopeing to power a stroker d2 with it.. I got it for free.... oh well

I have a old school u.s. amps VL-400 It recently fried due to lack of sufficient power. I am wondering if it is possible to get this fixed , looks like it needs a new board to me. Also does anyone know the specs on this amp? ... i have looked everywhere . I havnt even seen one on ebay (previous owner did the "custom" paint job. ) it used to be purple.
