    seriously

not a chance in you know what to get it through the trunk its so narrow the opening whatever you do has to go in through the backseats also take the seats out youll be able to gain some room may have to bend a little but not 2 inchs well shouldnt be two inchs

    seriously

i know someone that has gotten his grand am into the 150's+ so its a car u can get loud but just like every trunk car takes a ton of work
  6. lightningbolt444

    seriously

that plastic piece is just clips just pops out no need to cut if u make it 36-37 in wide but i made it 38 a btw it does about a half a db louder with that little seat up and the big one down. box is 5 cu ft. and barley fits in the trunk then i had to squeeze a powermaster 3100 back tere and a sundown 3000
  7. lightningbolt444

How much power do these pull?

im running a 3000d 1 ohm with a 200 amp ho alt, and one powermaster under the hood and another in the back , one run of 0 gauge, also have a 100.4 on its own run of 4 gauge. Voltage does pretty well doesnt drop to low never seen the 11's with the car running at the amp

    15" Nightshade D2 T/S Specs

gonna have to look in to getting a few of these lookin nice waiting to see what ppl say about them as far as daily use
  9. lightningbolt444

    seriously

my box is 15.5 tall ( i also have maybe another inch if i really wanted it) its a 99 grand am my setup before this one was one fi bl off a sundown 1500 and it did a 143.5 on the tl at 35 hz. Cars accually get pretty loud for trunk cars just take some time and if you want to push it to the extreme a saw and hammer like i did to "modify". O if you take the plastic off the opening it gives you about two more inches to slide the ox in then take the rear seats out just clips and u can slide a box in no problems just gotta watch the width i made mine about an inch to big so had to make it fit. The plastic piece will clip back in once you have a box slid in and wont affect anything as long as u have the box a few inchs back.

    BL or BTL?

You can compare the power to the amps but like you said on puts out 2500 one puts out 1500 so you really need to know which way your going to go on subs. Didnt mean you cant compare them but if your going with lets say the bl the sundown would be better a btl and the kicker would be better so it would be two diff applications that each would excel in, in this case at least
  15. lightningbolt444

    BL or BTL?

The kicker will but you cant compare them because they are in totally different power ranges. Yes at the VERY LEAST you should add a second batt . But i recommend a second battery and a HO Alternator but again it depends on which amp you accually go with.
