    Bummed by the loss

I asked was the company still gonna be around. Marks response. No worries, Mach 5 is still around. Give me a bit of time to fix up the website a bit - then you can snag what you need. Thanks, Mark

    Two MJ18M's and a SAZ-1500D

Well I hit 140.06 on 800-900 rms ( RF T1000bd @ 2ohms) on 2 MJ18ms on the TL. BTW this was at 30hz I love low end bass, its the best, big box low tune, cant go wrong. I plan on 1k ea to them im hoping for 147-149 at the same freq. BTW this is in a caprice wagon. Get you a wagon, and get to work.

What would cause me to loose output like this

Yeah thats what im getting on another forum The surrounds could be stiffer when it's cold, which would affect the resonant frequency (Fs). 11 months ago Source(s): The plastic squeeze rat on the dashboard of my truck. In cold weather it is much harder to squeeze than in warm weather. stiffens the suspension is what one dude said too so im guessing thats what it is
  8. I have 2 MJ18ms and yesterday i noticed it wasnt geting low as it used too, I noticed it yesterday night around 1 am and it was freezing cold it was ice on my roof, and I had to tug at the door to open it I played songs that would shake the entire car and it just wont do it. I had to put sub out to 15 (max on my alpine) to get it to do anything like it used to I normally have it at 8 whats going on Is my amp dying or what? cant be my ears, becuse I can feel my system

Thanks for you guys support even though one apple tried to spoil the bunch, "but once the glue is set the screws don't really do much. The glue is what really holds the two pieces together." yes thats right Ive heard that before, and thats what I did........... but I didnt let it set........ too excited and wanted to get it in, thats what ended up happening plus the the drill bit issue

Will this box design help me at all

Yes I did, but it it hit the wrong part of board Hard to explain, but Its line dry glue where it supposed to hit the port Yeah this is my second box that I have built ever, Not like im on here talking nonsense things happend and you do have to learn by doing, and put it this way If you dont learn from your mistakes whats the sense in making them, Dude I dont have money coming out my butt, or anyone in my area to realy help me on my builds so I just dove in and did it, and Im proud of it, and so is everyone else thats heard it, Until i got on the mic and it found another part to come loose Im sure everyones build has been 100% and worked perfectly on the second go around with no help I even put that Big box in the car by myself

MJ 18ms got meterd on the TL

Use some Titebond II or any other good wood glue and coat the screw, should help. Nice score btw! LOL i thought I did, It didnt get on all the wood with glue especially where the ports are, I looke again and theres a glue stain about .5 away from the port so it didnt grab it, this was def a rush box, I wanted this thing in, and i didnt let glue dry, silicone dry, or anything lol this problem is my fault Just didnt let it dry SO i reinforced it again, SH*TLoad of glue and a semi double baffle on the parts that are seperating, and i let it dry overnight

MJ 18ms got meterd on the TL

Yeah I used the smallest one "I HAD" which I thought was fine I tested it, put the screw in and it held the wood no problem, didnt take into account that these are Sony Xplods and they actully cause Severe Vibration lol I ended up using 2lbs of drywall screws
