considering doing a box with aero's wanna tune it lower also around 30 hz right now its in 3.4-3.5 cube at 34 hz on 3k rms to get the tune i want and my depth issues guided me here, i hear you need to have roughly the diameter of the pipe distance from flare to back of box for it to be right? so final figure would be 4.25 cubes at 30 hz with 1 6" Aero at 16.5" for that tuning and thats from flare to flare. Should i just go to 2 3" aero's or what do i do hear, because i will be going 16.5"+6"+1.5" for the MDF im too close to the rear hatch, it would be like 3-5" from it

looking to get some nice midbass+highs, looking to upgrade from my infinity's was looking at the cheaper cdt audio comp sets was thinking of getting a 6.5" comp set and a 4" comp set so 2 6.5's 2 4's and 4 1" tweets i would put 1 of each per door and then 1 tweet in each front window pillar or next to me in the verticle pillar by seatbelt would that be a bad idea? too much tweeter?and could i wire two 4 ohm crossovers together for two ohm's? so 2 crossovers per channel

i would buy a 5k for my ultra but a 7k is too much for me

to my knowledge they all are its all in the car now but no vid's but this amp wangs the chit out of this sub and has amazing sq, its a beast worth its weight in gold... i cant imagine this sub with 5-6k on it

well bad news, my camera was ruined today due to a beer accident and i couldn't get any pics of it before i put the car ALL back together( what a bitch) all i can say for RAAMaudio is amazing and my S10 will be stripped and a roll put in their this summer, and also the BXT is awesome but i HIGHLY recommend the Ensolite i did basically the whole car except roof with it on top of everything and my bottom of the line Escort is as silent as a luxury car no kidding well worth the near 12 hours into it all (mostly by myself) i will build the box next weekend i guess lol i want a break from it all i will also purchase a camera or a nice movie camera to take pics and of course the videos Thanks guys for looking!

for some reason me and two buddies started on my car and will resume tomorrow early in the morning and knock the rest out only thing else that needs to be removed is the bottom of the back seat/headliner/floor carpet will post finished pics tomorrow

Update: Sound deadening material is all here so i will be deadening and running wires throughout the car soon! 5 yards of ensolite, 125 sq ft of mat and 3 cans of adhesive for the foam alt is being shipped today i guess i haven't heard a confirmation yet though

looking to add a nice home theater setup along with a sub, im into good lows and very powerful bass in movies and music what would be a good driver+amp combo? im guessing i would have to buy a amp, no receiver would put out enough power i wouldn't think

that would be plenty of power for that sub make sure you build a real nice enclosure, tune it mid-low 30's and enjoy it! it should move some air

with your power the Q's imo if you had like 3-3.8k rms i would recommend the BL's they are about the same volume/spl right up to like 3k rms above that the Bl's do exceed in spl

what did it used to be?

well i live in MI so i see alot of cold weather, i had my 15's inverted so the mag would be outside temp after 12 hours w/o driving it, i always let it warm on vol 6-10 for like 3-4 minutes but you can feel the mags and everything and its the same temp still and they are not any louder, if anything they do worse, also though this could be due to soft parts being stiff like said earlier thats just my experience
