I didn't even know they offered something like that. Definitely something I'll have to look into when it's a bit less chaotic here.

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread....97#post12971497 So they still pre-ordered and paid. You mentioned that you can't help it if someone chooses to use paypal and sends their money immediately; how is this done? I assume that after they add to cart and checkout, they are prompted to choose a method of payment. If they enter their credit card info, you would charge it later...if they choose paypal, it sends them to paypal to make a payment, right? That would still be taking their money on a pre-order...but maybe I have your procedure incorrect. I took AudioJunkies out of my signature because it's easier for me that way. So cram it. Ok, I know exactly who you're talking about and it was a Paypal payment. The way Paypal functions is the customer is at the payment page, they choose Paypal. Our site redirects them to Paypals site at which time they choose how they'd like Paypal to send us funds. After they send the funds through Paypal, they're redirected back to our site, Paypal tells our site we've been paid and the order is processed. Unfortunately for us, Paypal doesn't really have a "paid when shipped" option. This is exactly how Amazon.com now works for third party merchants. You don't get paid until they get a tracking #. Works fantastically, no one pays for an item before it's shipped. The really odd things is now that Paypal owns Verisign. With Verisign there is an authorization that you can then draw funds on. I can see why this wouldn't work to well with Paypal but you'd think it would be a system that they could implement, especially since they own a company now that does exactly that. It would be a bit different seeing as how you can link a Paypal account to numerous bank accounts/credit cards, but that's why people like Paypal, you give one company all your personal banking information and let them take money from you and send it to someone else.

Of course, by having Writer/Contributor in your sig, you are representing them in a way in every post you make. Also, you didn't cite a source, you said there was another post on another board. A citation would have included a link to said post. Odd thing is that I DID indeed go through every single post on AVSForum mentioning 13Av.2 13Av 13A 13Av2 Please point out which of these posts says I was charged when I ordered it: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10202153 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10208263 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10230588 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10626701 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10628810 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10701219 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10709123 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post10758062 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post11059470 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post11795831 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post11807326 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post11807594 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post11867716 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post12369491 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13059408 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13059608 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13059636 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13059673 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13092883 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13092921 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13093062 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.....2#post13142477 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread....Av2#post9251761 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread....v2#post13142432 http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread....v2#post13142477 Now, if you could do me a favor and actually link to the post in question, that would be awesome. Since I've just linked to every single public post on AVSForum dealing with the speaker and not a single one says I was charged for something, I have to question your motives. Sorry I had to post here again, but being called a liar isn't something I take kindly to. Especially when there is absolutely no proof.

Being that I am the one and ONLY person at Elemental Designs that has access to charge anything for anyone, here is my only post on this message board. Not a single person was charged for that speaker before last Monday. Credit cards were reauthorized on Saturday to make sure there were no issues with the charges but every single person who selected to pay with a credit card through our site was not charged until 2/11. IF someone chose to pay via Paypal, rather than use their credit card online, it was their choice to send us money via that system. WE had absolutely no say in whether or not they'd send us the money, it was a decision they made. That's like saying we charged someone because they sent us an envelope full of cash. Yeah, they gave us money, but it was their choice, not ours. Please get your facts straight before posting something like this. Due to your association with an audio news site, I would think you would try to get your facts straight especially when posting something like this. I understand that there are posts that you make personally and posts that you make on audiojunkies, but really, you shouldn't try to spread misinformation as fact. Would it be too difficult to confirm all the information about something before posting it online? Especially something that would be as readily available as that?
