Look up the Harrison Labs fluxcap.. I just picked one up and started using it, The bottom post wires to the stock battery (12 volt) and then theres a shared ground between your 12v and 16v batterys, and then the top post charges your 16v batterys. The fluxcap i ordered charges at 17.9 volts, and i raised it up to 19 to try and get max power out of my sundown, not realizing i only gain efficiency over 16.5 volts on the amp.. I need to open the fluxcap back up and reset the voltage, but its a pain to open up with the bolts. I was going to run a step-down and use a external regulator and HO alternator, but this has made it so much easier. Once i get my real system going in here, and not a temp one, i'll make a writeup about how much i love this dc to dc converter.

I think it would be much more cool if I were the one bassracing with the single 15 .. Darn i'm not even on Team Sundown yet, i'm still working on buying a car to compete .. After i pick up a car to build up, i'll be ready for a second 3000D.. Alternator already here, all i need is the car lol.

I really like blackout, i'm not sure if its right for this sub, as this sub might need something intimidating in the name, but Sundown Blackout sounds like a nice future name.

Sundown SAZ woofer? or better yet SARZ or... nevermind. I take it you will be able to option out the sub, with different coils and stuff? You missed a lot of interesting parts of the thread :-P.. I believe it will be a custom order sub, basically built to what each customer requests. He has a daily coil which has already looked amazing in testing, and now hes been testing his all-out SPL coil and we haven't seen TL numbers on it yet.. I'm tuned in to see if he adds more power to this next test :-D

I like NightStorm as mentioned so far, if hes going to keep the Sundown Night**** name. Maybe something simple and gets the job done though? Is there any theme your set on so far Jake? Nighttime before bed isn't a horrible time to try and be creative.. lol

No offense mean't to anybody, but I haven't liked the ring of anything mentioned yet. Sundown Nightshade I do like, but I honestly can't think of anything else that would sound right for the next level up, without trying to give it a name that would imply it would be your top of the line sub, which you've hinted it won't be. Would you be against something Japanese? lol, with the sundown picture it kind of goes well. Anyone that brainstorms something nice hopefully will post up here, because i'm blank. Sundown Kamikaze? lol. Edit: I was looking at the pictures and just trying to think of anything, maybe sundown nightfire? I don't really like either of my suggestions, but i'm hoping my horrible suggestions will encourage others to throw anything out there. Might help someone else think of something.
