    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Speaking of snow I sure hope the forecasts are off, I'm supposed to get a mild dry winter. I KNEW i shouldn't have bought a new sled. The season was so rough last year, and short. Think I will take up hang gliding instead

I don't post often, but I saw thread title and I knew you would have some insight M5 lol
  3. My brother didn't want to pull any panels/carpet back and was in a rush to hear his new gear, so he stripped 6" of the ground wire and slammed it in the trunk latch. Worked like a charm lol

    enclosure recommendations for 15" deathrow

It's in one of the stickies here. Although I do not know if their recommendations changed with the new model DR. I have the last model (1k rms version) in 3.4^, 45" of port and tuned to ~33hz in a trunk with a Q2200 on it. Absolutely fantastic is all I can say. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/28822-ia-recommended-enclosure-sizing/
  5. I would definitely bet on accidentally ending up with half ohm, and I'm also fairly certain Kenwood amplifiers are normally rated to 2ohms and not necessarily even one ohm stable, let alone .5
  6. He didn't do parallel/parallel, his second config said he was coils in series subs paralleled.
  7. Both of his wiring configs are 2 ohms, unless I am misreading his description....

    Sundown X18 build

Eesh, gotta say when I first saw the surround roll on the X series I was a little put off, thought it looked goofy. And now every time I see one I want to fill a Suburban with them. I love that basket too, I'm not sure I could decide to mount ass out or conventional.
