I can almost guarantee you'll be able to hit a 130 with 2 SA 15s.

Previous setups include my first sub, an SA 15 on about 1K, and then my previous setup, a pair of XFL 12s on 2K. I'm hoping to gain even more output, we'll see if the ZCON is up to match my XFLs. I think, if my box is done correctly, I'm going to gain output while retaining or even refining some musical qualities. But, of course, time will tell. Just glad to see myself 'climbing the ladder' to the big leagues.

Well guys, I pulled the trigger on a 15" ZCON last night. Here in the next few months, I hope to pair it with a nice 3500, give it plenty of airspace, and tune to about 30 hz to see what she can do. The Evil may or may not have been a better choice for the amp/tuning combination, but I got a great deal on this driver. I'm sure she'll do nothing less than blow me away come time for install. I'm talking to my box designer now, we're trying to decide whether to do a standard enclosure or seal off the trunk. Either way, I'm totally stoked to start running SSA.

I thought the customer service and quality of the product would contribute towards the reputation of a company more than the effort somebody puts into an almost-meaningless post on a forum, but hey - that's just me.

Damn, I realize this is an SSA forum but I didn't realize there'd be so much hate. He's a legitimate company owner who does legitimate, honest business; and once he goes through the explanation of everything thrown at him he's still criticized for using ellipses? Seriously?

No.. With what's on the market now, changing from one sub to another isn't a massive change. Upgrading electrical, more power, tuning enclosure is many times better than switching sub brands. Some subs may have better advantage in your application but there is no one sub that is the best in everyone's application\vehicle. I don't remember saying there was. Hence, why I said I've heard many different things about the drivers.

I've personally got mixed feelings on the brand. While I hear some people say they didn't quite meet their expectations, I've also heard these called one of the most durable, strong, along with musical woofers on the market. The guys over at Tantric are a real close group, and while they may seem short at times, the HDD breaking records in it's first year of production is enough to convince me that these guys might just know what they're doing.
