  1. All of our batteries are now shipping with M6 socket head cap bolts and washers. The lengths vary depending on the model. Post and stud adaptors are available. You can call the tech dept. at 800-862-7223 opt. 4 for more info on the accessories.

  2. We are currently running a $25 rebate on the 1004, 1005, S1000, and D1000 until the end of Feb. and will be starting a $15 rebate on the S680, S925, S975, and S1200 between March 1, and May 31.

  3. Yes, the D3400's are available, and yes the I-Bar accessories are sold seperately and they will now work with all of the XS Power models excluding the 680's. For some models you will need adaptor parts, so please be sure to check before you buy.

  4. The temps the batts are exposed to in the bed will be no different than under the hood. The warmer the batteries are the better they perform. For example, a battery that is rated at 925CCA (0 degrees) should be able to do around 850CA (32 degrees). You will get the best performance from XS Power AGM batteries right around 80 degrees... any warmer and you dont really benifit that much at all.

  5. The new lithium models were originally designed for drag racing, but since their release we have seen interest from many other areas of racing, including NASCAR, Speedboat racing, and Motorcycle drag racing. The cost and capacity of these products really do not lend themselves well to auidio though. Maybe one of these days we will have a product that is specific for audio.

  6. The stinger battery is actually a pretty good battery. You will notice a bit of a difference, but nothing major. The D3400 does have lots of cool accessories available though, and comes with a 3 year warranty.

  7. I was looking for a battery to power my car and stereo and came across the flyer for the D3400. I have 3 amps: Sundown SAZ1500D, an Orion 900.2 and a diamond 400.4. Not looking to compete hardcore just an occasional local meet and daily driver. Just want a safe power source. I drive a Toyota Solara with factory battery and alt. Does the 3400 meet my needs?

Do you know what size your factory battery is? Chances are the D3400 will fit just fine. I would probably consider an extra smaller battery in the back, like a D925 for daily, or another D3400 if you will be competing.

  8. We're working on some options for Hawaii... should have a dealer there soon! :)

  9. I am still waiting on my large discounted order of Tottie's patented SPL Dust. :P

It's not available in large discounted orders... (unless it comes along with the purchase of my van) ;)

  10. I used to think the same... until I tested them. In every spl test I ever conducted with Optima's the blue tops were the best, the yellow tops second, and the red tops the worst.

Hmm, interesting. How much did they results of the tests vary by?

also deep cycles will take a re-charge alot better then starting batteries

This is true, starting batteries are damaged by repeated deep discharges. In theory, with a beefy enough alt, this shouldn't become a problem, the battery acts as a buffer. Perhaps Optima Blue Top type batteries would be ideal, as they are made to dump lots of current, and discharge over a long period of time. Hmm.

Only a few tenths between the yellow and blue, the red on the other hand would be significantly behind... well over 1dB.

When you guys are comparing starting batts vs deep cycle batts, I assume you are refering to flooded vs. sealed. If this is the case, them most of what you are saying is true, but there are sealed AGM starting batteries that can give both high amp discharge (for starting) and can still be deep cycled. Odyssey, Northstar, and XS Power are good examples...

  11. scottie is it a sales rep or a company... ??

Reason i ask is we have a large forums that is for Hawaii car audio enthusiast and i can move your batteries fast on these forums (at least in hawaii)....

But i would like to have the Rep or the shop guys provide support for them on the forums..

It's a company... I'm not sure if they could provide support, but I would be happy to answer any questions they may have. I just need someone in Hawaii to buy them so they can sell to all the people requesting them :)
