Well - we'll see anyway. I'm not making any claims on it yet. The coil we are using now is the "daily" coil as well. We have an SPL coil that will be tested once we find the limits of this coil and blow the sub up That is freekin' awesome, I am very excited about the progress so far, it looks like it will be a real contender either way.

So the just I am getting here is this thing is looking like its going to do numbers in the 99z and SHW area! Correct?

I totally agree, and having the cover off only exposes the top of the amp, all the fins in the sides are basicall ineffective, decause they can't transfer the heat to cooled air. I would guess that effectively 50% of the cooling capacity is gone even with the cover off. cross flow from one end of the amps to the other, with a source of fresh cool air is 100% necessary. Great looking install, but definately installer error, fairly easy fix though.

I have plans for a deeper driver later for the guys that can fit a bigger driver - but I want this one out first since it fills a sorely needed niche, IMO. Any plans for a nice, smooth sounding silk tweet to go along with this mid? I sure hope so, in the range of 27 or 28mm with a useable freq. range of 2000 - 30000hz at 125 watts. I would be ditching the CMass in a hurry!

IMO the price point seems ok to me. I definately want one.
