  1. If you are ever going to upgrade to more or larger amps you may want to get a bigger wire the first time. It will not hurt to have bigger than you need up to a point. I would say 2 Gauge so you can have room to grow.
  2. I was thinking the same thing Sorry Igg but I head to!
  3. Alpine 7965. This is my 2nd one. I have also had 2 7864's. All previous Alpines were stolen. Pioneer with the screen saver. Don't remember the model. Also had the Kenwood Excelon d-mask when it first came out.

    team xss at finals

The thing with the Team RF subs is that they are made for the RF compeditors. They watn $1600 for the 15 if you are a non RF compeditor. That to me should not be allowed. If that were considered a fair offering I should get some Orion 2500D board and starp them internally, offer them as mono amps to TNT compeditors at cost and charge anyone else $3000 each. They would be production peices but at a huge cost to the people.

    SPL SUBS

I actually do like SQ but I also like SPL. Two different cars for that though. No loud daily for me. I would never buy a CSX by the way. I am no SQ sissy either! I just purchesed a pair of Atomic APX's. NO WAY do these things sound good for daily driving! Now my Crystal CMP and CMPx2 is a different story.
  10. Most amps don't require mods to run lower ohm loads. How much are you getting the amp for, if you don't mind. George Wu at Atomic will hook you up with a good deal on the Atomic Bomb 1500 if you drop my name. It will do .5 hm all day and be all around better than the PA.

    SPL SUBS

High SPL subs have VERY tight magnetic gaps. This coupled with stiff motor structure and (for most) high Vas make a poor SQ sub. Some are down right pitiful for daily use. The MTX RFL is a good example. The coils have a tendency to unwind after heavy use. High Bl and Low Mms can be good for SQ. There are just too many factors that go with it to say those are all bad. I hear the Treo CSX can sound pretty good. I know the DD 9515's can.

    Hello everyone.

Most definately a comp vehicle. Just getting back in the equipment and waiting on George to build my Atomic APX 12's to my specs. I will be running 1 Orion 2500d for now and adding another later. 1ohm for a few shows and .5 ohm after that. dbDrag Street A setup. I will get some numbers if I make the show in Lebanon. I may use some Quantums offered to me if the APX's are not here in time. I also have access to an RE HC 15 and Crystal CMPx2 if I need.
  14. What amp are you looking to mod? And what are you modding it for? Lower load or more power at lower voltage or higher voltage app?

    Left Over Kove Armegeddons

Those are very good at that price. They sound pretty good and get fairly loud. Pretty well built too.
