so your saying net per driver is 4.37 so 123 sq inches of port will set you right at about 14sq inches per cube which should be ideal for the t1. i know your drawing is off for sure, the second port walls look like 1 inch when they should look like half of the port entrance 3inches on each side.ye i know. im not gonna make a ratio for this build.

net volume per sub?I love that sub. I had a T1 15 in 3.3 cuft @ 33htz and 3.5 cuft @ 31 htz.
I liked the second box better. Really sounded good.
4.37 cubic foot per sub, net volume

How many square inch of port?156 square inches from the front of the port to the back of the box on the inside, thats without the baffles
I think you're a little off there. Looking at your picture, if you used 3/4" MDf, your port is 123 sq in.
ye my bad haha i was in a hurry ta get outa tha house i kinda estimated.. how do yall think its gonna sound.. im pretty cofident thats its gonna be really good

ok so im building a new box for my freind.. he has tha loudest and clearest system ive heard but he wants to be louder. so yall tell me the specs of his system are:
2 15" Rockford fosgate P2's in a box 44 by 21 on a MTX Thunder 1200W amp.. and heres what the inside baffle looks like on his current box(from a car audio shop.. lol)
and heres a real pic of his subs and current box..
Now heres my box design for his subs.. i mite end up making the port smaller but yall tell me. subs facing up. port facing back in the middle of the box

aznboi3644: i meant to say baffles before the actuall air comes out of the port.
jcardin: thanks man i thought we did pretty good for a first box build too but i was going for a low tuned port but im really not sure about what its exactly tuned to.. but it does hit the lows real hard.

Well i know yall are gonna say sony's are peices of chit lol but its a big step up from my freinds Dual brand 12's lmao but heres the box me and him built for the 10's he might be putting 2 10" rockford p2's to replace the sonys soon but im not sure.. heres some pics.. and just so yall know this is the first box ive ever built
Starting off.. drawing plans
drawing and cutting the baffles in the port and sides
top bottom and both front and back sides cut out..
cut out the sub holes with a jigsaw.
all of the baffles are 2" spread from eachother and 2" from the walls of the box.
drilled a hole for the speaker connecter..
sealing all the edges with silicone and glueing/airnailing the parts to their spots.
the finished product. except for the carpet of course which will be on soon. and the port is also 2 inches. all the chambers makes the lows sound louder, so i guess i got it tuned for low response.
