    Ok, so just found out today. Now in Arkansas if you get pulled over for music you will be fined $1000, second offense jail time. wtf??..

    Obviously you have a bunch of idiots in Arkansas...on both sides.

    Obviously i do, I have the loudest in town and i dont turn mine up around neighborhoods or at stop lights. Its the other idiots that dont give a shit that cause laws like this to get passed..

    At your absurd 26Hz they are down 30dB from their peak which if that is where they measured their sensitivity means that they could be 54dB sensitive in that region. Going to take a hell of a lot of them to get loud at all. You could make a 500Hz fart cannon that way though, although there are better ways to do that.

    And they'd run out of excursion REALLY fast down there too. 65Hz Fs and recommended frequency range...not a sub.

    I never found anything about Ogden, of course the standard "quiet time" between 2000 and 0700, but nothing about fines or enforcement.

    If you don't know what you are doing, you are better off sending it to a repair shop. What amp is it ?

    Im pretty sure i can fix everything disconnected with some solder. I just didn't know where that one terminal looking thing went. Its a Sound Storm 1Fd2500.

    There's no missing parts that I'm aware of , the parts that are there are just broke and disconnected. From the heat i guess.

    Just going by parts visibly broken is a recipe for spending money on parts. Lost of things can go wrong and show no sign.

    Parts don't "disconnect" because of the heat.

    Yeah, solder won't just melt from normal operating temperatures in an amplifier. Adrian I think it's time for a basic amplifier repair thread!

    But the amp has visible burn marks, where all of that is ;)
