I wasn't responding to healthcare, I was responded to hiring. And it's currently federal law that you can not discriminate based on age, sex, race/nationality, etc. And the ADA protects those with disabilities against certain types of discrimination. Every thing you just listed there (with the exception of gay, the topic of that article) is already a protected category in this country. If you don't like it, move somewhere else. No, I absolutely do not agree with you. The majority of the country disagrees with you based on the successful passage of such laws many decades ago to protect the country from such actions which have never been retracted or overturned since. The civil rights movement happened for a reason. It has nothing to do with "big government", it has to do with equal treatment of your fellow human beings and their natural moral right to the same opportunities as anyone else. It is the laws of this great country that afford you the ability to rather easily go start that business of yours that your vision created, the same laws you are bitching about. Your ability to open that business is allowed and protected by that big, liberal government you fucking hate so much. If you had it your way and civil rights didn't exist that big fucking government could just as easily pass laws or otherwise restrict your ability to start that dream business simply because of your race, nationality, gender, etc.
You may not like people hiding behind their religion, so how about just calling it their moral convictions? Does that change your opinion, or do you still feel that the government has a right to tell a business owner they HAVE to provide healthcare? IMO if someone owns a business they should be able to do whatever the fuck they want to. If I don't want to hire a Jew, or a woman, or a short person then who is to say that I should have to? If I don't want to serve someone because they are gay, then who's right is it to say that I have to? It is MY investment, MY time, MY love, MY vision that built the business. The owner of the business should be able to dictate the practices enforced within the realm of that business. If people don't like it they can just visit another establishment.
IMO this whole religious freedom thing is out of control and bullshit. Your made up ideology should ALWAYS take a back seat to someone else's right to not be discriminated against BECAUSE OF your made up ideology.Who else saw this one coming?

I need to pull an L Ron Hubbard and make up my own religion so I can get all sorts of special treatment. Turn my house into our worship center so I don't have to pay property tax, etc
I fucking hate big, liberal government.
So you disagree with the entire civil rights movement and laws? You are essentially arguing for it's repeal. That is easily the most idiotic thing I have read in a very long time. LOL, go smoke some more drugs. Literally.

However, if you remember less than a month ago my neighbors house was busted for being a meth lab.
Sunday my son's $400 new bike was stolen from our garage.
And now last night someone got into my car.
So, I live next to a meth lab and have been robbed twice this week. This little town of ours apparently just isn't like it used to be. Going downhill rather quickly.

wow people still steal radios? So I walk out to my car this morning and my hood is popped, like the hood release had been pulled. That's extremely odd I think to myself, it definitely wasn't popped the last time I drove it.
So I open my car door to sit down the things I had in my hand to close the hood and that's when I notice the trim ring for my CD player is gone. Oh, now I get it. Someone got into my car last night and tried to steal my stereo.
I'm guessing the hood was popped because they thought the hood release was the trunk release.
Apparently, and they are no longer any good at it.

Thankfully all they got away with was the 40 cents of change in my change holder and the trim ring for my worthless Sony CD player.

I live 30 minutes from Ft Wayne and couldn't figure out 1)why I hadn't heard about this yet and 2) why Marion County was the first responders to an event in Allen County where Ft Wayne is located. Bad info in that article. It was at the GM metal stamping plant in Marion, not Ft Wayne's truck assembly plantMarion County fire department and HAZMAT teams responded to a "chemical explosion involving chlorine" just before 2:00 this afternoon at GM's Fort Wayne plant. One GM worker died and several others were injured in the incident.
WTHRand others report a 48-year-old contract employee named James L. Gibson succumbed to injuries from the explosion at a hospital just before 3:00 PM, but accounts are conflicting about how many people were injured.
Business Insider and Bloomberg say eight were hurt, WTHR and USA Today claim five.
Marion Fire Chief Paul David confirmed to WTHR that the explosion "involved a chlorine dioxide tank" and that rescuers performed gross decontamination (to a large group of individuals), but nobody seems to know what caused the incident.
GM spokesperson Stephanie Jentgen said "the situation is contained" and that "everybody has been evacuated," to the Associated Press while another spokesperson Bill Grotz announced that an internal investigation had begun.

Without at minimum a budget and space requirements we can not help you. Knowing more specifics about your goals would be helpful as well.

Son's baseball team won city championship tonight.
So far of the two times I've assistant coached, soccer last year and baseball this year, the teams have won our city tourney.
I'm beginning to think it's my awesome coaching abilities
Or it's just coincidence.

Honestly never tried it because I can't stand the word. I cringe when hear it much less say it. So never ate it. Everyone else seems to love it so I can only image it's da bomb, it just needs a different less annoying name.

Next up, a 22 and some odd pound brisket. Basically 10 Kg
I hate the word brisket. I don't know why, it just bothers me.

No, you can not recone the driver to a low Q model. The gap is machined wider on the high Q version.
What amp and what settings are you using?

Didn't have much mojo at the gym today. Moved good weight but sore from previous days and a little sluggish so ran out of steam quickly. Only did 3 sets instead of my usual 4.

hoe.jpgStupid stancers...this is what you call camber
Not this
I was wondering who else would catch it. I can't ALWAYS be the perv.
I noticed. I also like how Aaron named his image simply "hoe"

The links to the left give you the formulas to calculate port length, minimum port area, frequency response, etc

Didn't watch the whole vid, but randomly clicked to a point in the vid and the first thing I hear him talking about is port area per cubic foot. Since that is a bullshit method of port design and misinformation it makes me weary of anything he says in the video.

Enclosure came out real nice, wish you were closer so I could hear the IB. Only IB setup I've heard was a 12" Focal with the neo magnets (I don't know models) and I really liked how it sounded, but needed a littttttle more output.
IB has the same potential for output as sealed, but since it's basically a really large sealed box you trade some peak output for more low end. I can imagine that single Focal was lacking in the bass dept, they aren't exactly known for their high excursion. This setup however should be capable of about 20db more than I'll actually use WinISD says peak output is the same as the ported Brahma I had before but with about 10db+ more output at 20hz, or twice as loud to the ear. I can't wait
great looking enclosure man!
Thanks. I hope to never have to do it again though...LOL I'm pretty well stuck with 15" 12-spoke basket subs for as long as I own the car.
not 12 spoke 15's, that sounds terrible!!
I know right. With only 3000+ subs to choose from I don't know what I'll do
Looking tits so far, cant wait to see what you have in store for the doors.
Yeah, me too Really unsure how it's going to turn out. My first time doing the doors that extensively and I don't have a great vision for coming up with fabrication ideas.
Here's a couple pics of the subs in their new home. Trunk is officially finished. Feels good to have atleast something to check off the list.

Weight is falling back in line. 183.5lbs today, and I made it a point to do cardio to sweat out some of that water

For me time of day doesn't make much if a difference. That is what I've noticed from 4 months of daily weigh-ins.
Going from morning to evening or mid-day is a pound or two difference.

Tomorrow my "goal" is to get another layer of 'glass on the door so I can remove the mold and get a temporary comp set installed so I can hook everything up and actually have an aftermarket stereo playing by the end of the weekend. It's been 3 years since I've had a system in my car, at this point I'm just anxious to get SOMETHING playing even if it's not the final install. And while SQ is more of my thang, I do miss the bass

Well, as you can guess I missed my deadline. While it made the 3 hour drive much more boring, it doesn't mean I stopped working on it. Have the trunk just about finished
I will be running the subwoofers infinite baffle. Which of course, just like everything else on this car, turned out to be a giant pain in the ass. Last fall I replaced the torsion bars for gas struts to hold the trunk lid open. The real problem is that the trunk floor is not flat, there is a big hump in the floor behind the rear seats for the rear axle. And there was not enough height above the rear axle hump or enough length at the rear deck to run just a simple flat baffle for the subs.
Here was my solution to running dual 15's IB in this vehicle. I built what is essentially half of an enclosure to fit behind the rear seats and above the axle hump. The rear and top are open for venting into the cabin through the rear deck 6x9 openings and partially through the rear seat (I may remove the material behind the armrest in the rear seat for a partial ski pass type opening as well). There is not a single flat panel on this unit. Every piece had some kind of angle that I needed to deal with. It looks simple, but there was a lot of work and planning that went into making this thing both fit in the truck properly and fit together properly.
I kind of hate this pic. The shadow makes the mismatch of the panels at the baffle look WAY worse than it really is.
To the casual observer that rounded baffle that the subwoofers will mount to looks like it's there just to be pretty and add a bit of character to the sub baffle. But in reality it's there because I'm a giant dumbass !! Because of the sharp angle behind the baffle I neglected to account for the width of the motor when I was figuring the mounting depth. Originally I was just going to make a couple rings to go behind the subs, but I decided to dress it up a bit and make it more of a beauty panel behind the subs. I did it in a hurry because I was kinda pissed at myself, so glad it turned out fairly decent (though not perfect). Even after adding the 3/4" panel to the baffle I was still a hair shy of the subwoofer fitting, so I said fuck it and notched out the bottom of the enclosure to provide enough clearance for the motor.
All carpeted and ready to go. With the carpet on I will say I do like the added touch of that extra panel on the baffle. Gives it a bit of depth and something more going on than just a flat panel. Almost would have thunk that I planned it that way
In the car and ready for subs. Got too late so I didn't drop the subs in today. Should be able to knock that out tomorrow, then back to glassing the doors

Weighed myself at the gym Sat, was around 181lbs. I've been bouncing between 180lbs and 183lbs for about 2 months.
Had to go out of town with my daughter for a couple days, so I skip the gym those days obviously and my diet is eating out for 4 meals (lunch/dinner on Mon and breakfast/lunch on Tue).
Weigh myself at the gym today and I'm a solid 185lbs. Holy shit 4lbs in 3 days?
I can't believe 4 meals out gained me that much weight. I'm wondering if taking a couple days off from the gym allowed my muscles some time to finally relax and rebuild? Not sure, but being at 185lbs surprised the shit out of me.
water weight maybe?
Could be. I weigh myself daily so I'll just track it and see how it goes. I've been trying to break through 183lbs for a while now, or just as importantly gain consistently instead of just bouncing around in the same range so hopefully I don't just fall back to where I was.
