Yup....checked out the specs on the amp. You are 100% better off using the D2's with it. And, honestly, there would not be any upgrade in switching to a Hifonics (if this amp is working fine).
So, I honestly would just keep your amp and get the D2's. Run one on each channel @ 1ohm.

Then each sub would only recieve 375w (that's if you used the D4's)

As I said in your e-mail, you can't do that because if the amp is only 1ohm/channel stable, you CAN NOT bridge it into a 1ohm load. The minimum bridged impedence would be 2ohm
I still say go with the D2's and your current amp

aha if you like beer we have a good place to go if you ever come by indiana mad anthony beer is sweet just about every beer i can think of has won at least a bronze medal and at munchies they sell that on tap plus bottled goose island and belle's. everything from blondes to stouts and even ipa's lol.. if squeak gets to fiddle with one im there. a question i have though is it possible to make this type of technology smaller for a sub? i bet if you tune it down a notch in size you would open up a whole new sq to $ market. kinda wih what jl has under the w6 and 7...not only that it would be usable for hicks like me who own a small pick up lolare u up by squeak (brad) and ryan (tirefryr)? if so, we really need to organize a meet (not ca.com..lol..which is usually just talk) somewhere in the middle...get some c-town and st.louis ppl involved...
but then again, these things always sound good on the web...lmao

hey squeak or mike, will i get a tracking number when the sub is shipped? because i'm currently in the process of moving and would need to intercept the package at my new house. thanks.
I'll have to check with Mike for sure, but I do not believe that getting a tracking number to you would be out of the question.

How will we be paying for these? Can I use a credit card online? Let me know, that will have a pretty big impact on wether I can jump in on this or not. THanks.Last I checked, Soundsplinter does accept paypal which allows you to use a credit card (that's how I paid for my sub).

2) Your full real name
3) Your shipping address
4) Your confirmed purchase quantity
5) If you presently have the money on hand, and how you would prefer to make payment (Money Order, Paypal, etc).

Updated againscoot we hit the magic 15, I save we give it just a couple mroe days than BLAMO, lets hit it
Yup. I figured give it 2 or 3 days for me to receive confirmation e-mails back, and then keep it open for another 2 or 3 days to let any last stragglers make it in.
But I didn't want to limit the timeframe quite yet incase any of the original confirmations backed out.......

Also, as I said, e-mails will be going out to those confirmed to be sure they are still in. If anyone fails to respond or changes their mind, obviously they'll have to be taken off the list and their confirmation dropped.

Don't judge a book by it's inductance.......or, I mean, don't judge a sub by it's cover.....errr.....um........
When's that proto going to be done?!?!
