Either amp would be a great choice. Sundown has excellent customer service so my choice would be Sundown. Make sure you have the electrical.

Is the box universal as far as using different brands of subwoofers? Or was it designed around the Icon specs? Only reason I ask is I have no Icons but have other 10" subs sitting around at home.

Sounds like they are being built in the Emince buildhouseI think the new Dr. Crankenstein is being built by Credence. Not sure though.
Build looks similar to the new Credence line along with the high price.....

Nice! A friend of mine is running the Euros and they are some fine comps.
That's the Euro Frame series not familiar with those but still not a bad looking set of comps.

With $400 as your budget you can get a really nice set of comps that will have great SQ and yet get loud.
I would have recommend the Oz Audio Matrix 180CS but sadly they have gone out of buisness. But you may be able to find them online somewhere.

I bought mine in '03, while PG was still under its old ownership. The Tantrums and the Titaniums were the last of those older lines.Nice looking amp. was just at Ampguts. Is it 1 or 2 ohm stable?

How much power do you need? I may be selling my Tantrum 1200.1 in the coming weeks
Would like something in the 1000 watt range or better. Was the Tantrum the last of the US build amps?

Since im getting back into car audio. How does the new Phoenix Gold amplifiers compare to the older models like the M and ZX series? Reason im asking is it fits my budget plus a local dealer. I was looking at the RSD600.1 or RSD1200.1 to drive a pair of 12" IA Lethal Injection Series.

As I was cleaning the garage I found an old pair of MTX ThunderCast 15's. Wondering if any of the manufacturers could recone these?
3" Voice coil
4 spoke cast basket
110 oz motor
6 bolt pattern for motor to basket
Took both apart to find out one had a shifted top plate causing the coil to pinch and the other had a scratchy coil due to dirt and debris in the gap along with ripped surround.
Are these even worth the time to recone? Just looking for options.

Need Tipps on Gain Matching Amps
in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical

Just did a friends 01' S-10 Blazer. We started at the head unit and found where that started to clip and then set each amp tweaking and adjusting crossover points to find where the sine wave didn't clip. We used the Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty test CD. We used the 0db gain and -5db gain and found a happy medium and went from there. It gave my friend a sense of relief knowing he wouldn't overdrive his speakers...
Word of advice, make sure you have a head unit with remote and set it to track repeat while setting and make sure you have closed windows and doors as the tones get very irritating....
