:/It did not go under 14 volts

^^agreedNeeds to be measured at your max playing volume. Also if the box is tuned to say 32hz then a typically it will draw most current well above or below tuning. A test tone of around 45hz playing and rolling volume up to your max listening volume would really show how strong your electrical is. But none of this matters since your voltage will not make the sub start making clapping noises.

^^agreedI just left the car audio shop and my voltage is 14.3 ish and it does not drop and that is the voltage at the amp and the battery and my box is the specs on the fi forum site spec sheet so my box is in the recommended enclosure
There is no way you only have one red top battery and big 3 for 2400 watt amp and your voltage stays at 14.3volts. Measure your voltage when system is playing to see how well your voltage is maintaining, if it dips bad then you need more electrical.
I still to this day dont understand why people dont install volt meters when installing a system over a 1000 watts, just baffles me.

It may be your box like others have stated and/or bad electrical.

"Brutus" amps can be ran @ .5 daily/.25 burps & are great amps for the price. You should have no issues with 1.7Yes it is wired to one ohm correctly the amp is one ohm stable but the fi bl dual 2 ohms actually read 1.7 ohns would that be an issue

really? everything i read said the subs like huge boxes... i can build another if i dont like it... or preferably build another box for 2 subs! 152 on sum 10s sounds nice... thanx for the info guys!
low power / bigger enclosure, high power / smaller enclosure and you my friend will have a decent amount of power on tap for that copper 15..

My opinion ..no

..Curious, were you planning on running the components up front or front & back? Are you running the components active or passive? If active get a 4 channel amp and if passive then jus a 2 channel amp.
Ohh and you don't need 2 sets of comps. It's just a waste of money. Stick with one set.
it would be active... place the components to the front im assuming?

^^ agreed, but 5.29 net is still to big..The enclosure will make a big difference but I don't see why you couldn't be in the mid 40s

Yellow top might work, but you will know when everything is installed. Also invest in a voltage meter and keep an eye on your voltage. Now for numbers I can only give you a few examples: I ran a hdc3 15 couple months ago off my m3b @ .5 hitting a 146.2 in my Grandprix and good friend of mine is currently running two hdc3 10's of a Dc 5k hitting a 152.5 in his blazer:) Just a friendly heads up.. that box is going to be way too big with that much power

Start by at least putting an Xs3400 or equivalent up front & what size hdc3 will you be using

Don't know about the four channel, but I am currently running the Q-200 and it's anextremely nice amplifier. You could run four components of a Q-200 wired down to 2 ohms stereo and probably have better results/performance than the 4 channel. Just my opinion though..
